Abstract

ABSTRACT This study includes the morphological analysis of the words, the text with transcription and the grammatical indexes of words in the Dakayxku'l-Sakayxk by Cefayi who lived in the 15th* century. The introduction section of the study is about the life of Cefayi, and his manuscription of Dakayiku'l-Hakayik. Although we do not have enaugh knowledge of his life, we know that he lived in the 15th* century, in the time of Sultan 3ayezid II* Dakayiku'l-Hakayik is the only work of him which is at hand* We have given the morphological features of Dakayiku'l-Haka- yik in the grammer sectiono The work reflects the characteristic features of 15th* century Old Anatolian Turkish Language and gives adequate morphological examples for it* All of then are given in the grammatical index* In text section the work with transcription which is the only manuscription of Dakayiku'-Hakayik is presented* This copy is in Süleymaniye library, Ayasofya Division, number: K* 1782, The head lines, the verses of the Koran, the religious tradition of the pro- he t, Arabic and Persian expressions were written in Arabic letters and were noted in Turkish in footnotes* In Grammatical Index section, all the words in the text were listed in accordance with their grammatical features, and their couplet number have been written before thea* The studies on Cefayi' s life and his work the text with trans cription the books we used in grammer analysis and preparation of indexes are all included in bibliogrophy section*
