Hat sanatında satır sistemi (sülüs, nesih, ta`lik, rik`a)

Abstract

Hüsn-i hat sanatında satır sistemi ve önemini ortaya koymayı gaye edindiğimiz bu çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci Bölümde, hat sanatında önemli bir yeri olan mıstar'ın kelime yapısı, önemi, yapılışı ve çeşitleri üzerinde durduk. ikinci bölümde, Kalem Suresi'nin birinci âyetindeki nun, kalem ve yazı hakkındaki çeşitli yorumları tesbite çalıştık. Üçüncü bölümde ise noktanın tarihi seyrini, önemini ve formunu ele alarak inceledik. Dördüncü bölümde, îslâm yazısındaki maddi ve manevi ahenk üzerinde durularak, satırda keşide yapılması, durak işaretleri, harf ve kelimelerin birbirlerine olan uzaklıkları, satır aralığı, Kur'ân-ı Kerimlerdeki satır sayısı ve sayfa düzeni üzerinde durduk. Beşinci bölümde ise, sülüs, nesih, ta'lîk ve rik'a yazılarının tarihçesi, özellikleri anlatılarak bu yazıların müfredat, kelime ve cümle mıstarları yarımda farklı taraflarım da izaha çalıştık. Yukarıdaki zikrettiğimiz hususları göz önünde bulundurarak, hat sanatında satır sisteminin varolduğu, bunun sağlanabilmesi için mıstar aletinin kullanıldığı kanaatine varılmıştır. Gayesi de satır istikametiyle beraber yazıda ahengin, estetiğin sağlanması olan bu sistemin hakkıyla uygulandığı meşk (numune) lerin nadir bulunduğu tesbit olunmuuştur.. Her sanatta olduğu gibi hat sanatında da ahenk ve estetiğin bir arada bulunmasıyla şaheserlerin zühûr ettiği görülmüştür. Hattat veya kâtip yazdığı hat nevinin özelliklerini iyi bilmesi;satır sistemindeki yeriyle beraber yazıdaki ahenk ve estetiği kavrayarak uygulaması gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study, which aims at pointing out the importance of line system in calligraphy, is composed of five chapters. In the first chapter, I tried to investigate the etymological origin of the word '`mıstar` (ruler), one of the tools used in the art of calligraphy, and to find out how it is manufactured in various shapes. In the second chapter, various commentaries of the first verse of sura of Koran titled `kalem` (pen) is studied from the point of view of pen and writing. The third chapter is dealth with the historical background of `dot` with its various forms. In the fourth chapter, the major emphasis is given on the external and internal harmony in Islamic calligraphy. In addition, some techniques such as lenthening line between two letters, using punctuation marks indicating pause at the end of each verse, leaving spaces between letters, words and lines are studied followed by a comparison between several editions of Koran with respect to the number of lines on each page and page-setting. The fifth Chapter, various styles of islamic calligraphy such as thuluth(sülüs),naskh(nesih),talîk, and rik'a are compared and contrasted with their historical background and characteristics of dimensions of words and sentences. This study proved that `line system` has long been existed in the art of calligraphy and the purpose of this system is to obtain straight lines by the help of mi star (ruler) but the calligrapical models of compositions in which this system was properly used are quite rare. Master pieces have been produced in Islamic calligraphy by the combination of aesthetics and harmony. We have come to conclusion that both calligrapher and clerks should be well aware of the characteristics of the type of writing and its place in line system.
