Montgomery Watt'm dini düşüncesini din felsefesi açısından incelemeye çalıştık. Watt'in dini düşüncesini incelediğimizde o'nun daha çok İslam ve Hıristiyanlık üzerinde durarak, bu iki dinin ortak noktalarını göstermeye çalıştığını görürüz. Kanaatimizce o'nun bu yaklaşımı, İslam ve Hıristiyanlık arasında olmasını istediği diyalogtan kaynaklanmaktadır. Watt, ayrıca bu iki dinin bazı görüşlerini modern bilimlerin metodlarına göre açıklamaya çalışmıştır.

Montgomery Watt in accordance with religion of philosophy. When we have examined the religious thought of W. Montgomery Watt, we see that he deals with Islam and Christianity and tries to show the similarities between them. According tu us his appreciation comes out from the dialoque between the two religions that he wishes. Watt also tries to investigate some aspects of these the two religions in terms of methods of modern science.
