Abstract

Asır Türk mutasavvıf ve şairlerindendir. İstanbul'da tahsilini yaptıktan sonra, Bosna kadı vekilliğine tayin edilmiş, bu vazifesini bırakarak tasavvuf mesleğine girmiştir. İlk önce Şeyh Muhammed Efendi isminde bir zattan, daha sonra Kadiri şeyhlerinden Kesriyye'li Şeyh Hüseyin Hamdi Efendi' den tarikat eğitimini tamamlayarak, evvela Üsküp'de müteakiben Kesriyye'de vefatına kadar halkı irşad etmeğe gayret etmiştir. Tasavvufa ait `Miftâhu Müşkilâti's-Sâdıkîn ve Adâbu Tarîki'l- Vâsılın` ve `Burhânu'l-Ârifîn` adlı iki eseri mevcuttur. 1170/1756 tarihinde vefat etmiş olup kabri Selanik yakınlarındaki Köprülü' dedir. Bu çalışmamızda Kâdirîyye Tarikatı mensubu olan Selim Kırimî'nin hayatı, eserleri ve tasavvufî görüşleri incelenmeğe çalışılmış, ayrıca `Burhânu'l-Ârifin` adlı eseri tahkik yoluyla yeni harflere aktarılmıştır.

ABSTRACT MASTER THESIS CRIMEAN SELİM BABA and HİS BURHÂNU'L-ÂRİFÎN İsa ÇELİK Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Osman TÜRER 1997-PAGE: 175 Jury : Prof. Dr. Osman TÜRER Crimean Selim Baba is among eighteenth century Turkish mystic poets. After he completed his education in İstanbul, he was appointed to Bosnia as a deputy Cadi. Later he left this duty and entered in to the mysticism world. Taking his education firstly from Sheik Muhammed Efendi and then from sheik Hüseyin Efendi, who is among Qadiriyya sheiks, Selim Baba tried to guide and initiate the people first in Üsküp then in Kesriyye until his death. He has two mystic works named as `Miftâhu Müşkilâti's-Sâdıkîn ve Âdâbu Tarîki'l-Vâsüîn` and `Burhânu'l-Ârifin`. He died in 1 170/1756 and his grave is stuated in Köprülü near Selanik. In this study, we tried to examine the life, works and mystic thoughts of Selim Kırimî belonging to Qadiriyya path. In addition his work named '3urhânu'l-Ârifin` has been by inquiry translated (cited) to new letters.
