Sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde işbirlikli öğrenme ile anlatım ve soru-cevap yöntemlerinin etkililiklerinin karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu deneysel araştırmada, ülkemizde henüz yeni araştırılmaya başlanan sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde işbirlikli öğrenme ile anlatım ve soru-cevap yöntemlerinin kullanımları sonucunda, öğrenci başarısı yönünden etkililiği incelenerek karşılaştınlmıştır. Araştırma Atatürk Üniversitesi Ağrı Eğitim Fakültesi'nde gerçekleştirilmiştir. 1998-1999 öğretim yılının ikinci döneminde Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretimi dersini alan üçüncü sınıf öğrencilerinden kontrol ve deney grupları seçilmiştir. Araştırma üç grup üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Gruplardan biri `kontrol` grubu olarak belirlenmiş ve bu grupta anlatım yöntemi ve soru-cevap yöntemiyle öğretim sürdürülmüştür. Deney gruplarının birincisinde (deney 1) işbirlikli öğrenme, ikincisinde (deney 2) işbirlikli öğrenme ile anlatım ve soru-cevap yöntemleri birlikte kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol gruplarına, ön test ve son test uygulanmıştır. Buna göre araştırmada elde edilen bulgular aşağıdaki gibidir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre :1. Kontrol ve deney 1 grubu arasında; deney 1 grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. 2. Kontrol ve deney 2 grubu arasında; deney 2 grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. 3. Deney grupları arasında ( Deney 1 -Deney 2 ) anlamlı bir farkın olmadığı görülmüştür.

In this experimental research it is aimed to study the effectiveness of cooperative learning method, recently studied in Turkey, versus lecture and question-answer methods in social studies teaching in terms of learner's success. The research has been made in Ağrı Education Faculty of Atatürk Universty. Control and experiment groups were chosen among the third class students who have taken Social Studies Teaching lesson in the second term of 1998-1999 education academic year. The research has been made on three groups. One of them has been defined as a `control group` and it has been educated by lecture and question- answer methods. Cooperative learning method has been applied to the first experiment group while the second experiment group has been educated by cooperative learning method and lecture and question-answer methods together. Pretest and final test have been applied to control and experiment groups. According to this, the results found in this research are follow. 1. There has been found a meaningful difference between control and the first experiment group to the advantage of the first experiment group.IV 2. There has been found a meaningful difference between control and the second experiment group to the advantage of the second experiment group. 3. There has not been found a considerable difference between experiment groups.
