Abstract

I ÖZET DOKTORA TEZİ ADOLF MUSCHG'UH İM SOMMER DES HASEN ADLI ROMANINDA KÜLTÜRLERARASI SORUNLAR VE ETKİLEŞİM Ahmet Uğur NALCIOĞLU Danışman: Doç.Dr. Salih Zeki BAYRAM 2001 -SAYFA: 123 Jüri: Doç.Dr. Salih Zeki BAYRAM Prof.Dr. Ahmet AKYOL Doç.Dr. Dursun ZENGİN Bu çalışmada, son otuz yıl içinde İsviçre-Alman yazınında adından oldukça söz ettiren Adolf Muschg'un `İm Sommer des Hasen` adlı romanında kültürlerarası sorunlar ve etkileşim konusu irdelenmiştir. Bu çalışma giriş bölümünden, üç ana kısım ve sonuç bölümünden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde kültür kavramı ve kültürün sosyal yaşamla ilişkisi ele alınmıştır, ikinci bölümde söz konusu romanın özellikleri üzerinde durulmuş ve bu bağlamda romanın içeriği, yapısı, anlatım biçimi, olay, zaman ve uzam kurgusu incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise figürlerin yaşadıkları kültürlerarası sorunlar, etkileşim ve sonuçlarına yer verilmiştir. Yazar, romanda farklı kültürden iki insanın ilişkileri, yaşadıkları kültürlerarası sorunlar ve etkileşimi olumlu ve olumsuz yönleriyle ortaya koymuştur. Bunun yanı sıra, sadece kültürlerarası sorunları ortaya çıkarmakla kalmamış, aynı zamanda figürlerin kendi ülkelerinde sahip oldukları toplumsal sorunları da vurgulamış ve bu sorunların yabancı bir kültür içindeki yansımalarını gözler önüne sermiştir. Batı ve Doğu düşünce tarzı arasındaki farklılıklardan doğan çatışmalara dikkat çektiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

This study is composed of an introductory part, three main chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter is devoted to the evaluation of the concept of culture and its relation to everyday social life. The second chapter focuses on the characteristics of the novel concerned and then on the content, structure, narrative type, plot and setting of the novel. And the third chapter deals with the intercultural problems faced by the figures and with the results out of them. The writer both positively and negatively reveals the relations and interaction between two people of different cultures. He not only reveals such intercultural problems but also puts the emphasis on the social problems faced by the figures in their own country. Moreover, he portrays the reflections of these problems within a foreign culture. It is finally concluded that the writer draws attention to the conflicts caused by the differences between the thinking way of the East and the West.
