Birinci bölümde; aile şirketlerinin yapısı, kendi yapısı içerisindeki karar alma mekanizmaları, genel olarak kantitatif ve kantitatif karar alma teknik ve modelleri incelenmiştir. Daha sonra ikinci bölümde, özellikle kriz ortamlarında ve belirsizlik ortamlarında, doğru, hızlı, zamanında karar almayı sağlayacak bir karar alma modeli (karar destek şablonu) önerilmiştir.Bu model, Gaziantep bölgesindeki küçük ölçekli bir aile şirketinde denenmiştir.Son kısımda Gaziantep bölgesinde, ulusal ve uluslararası pazarlarda tekstil, çimento.gıda gibi ana sektörlerde faaliyet gösteren büyük bir aile şirketinde inceleme yapılmıştır.

In the first part, structure of the family firms and their decision taking mechanisms qualitative and quantitative, decision taking techniques and models has been analised.Fur ther more, in the second part decision taking model which will provide to take accurate, rapid and on the time decisions at the crisis and uncertanity times (decision support model) is recommended. Finally in the last division, a big family firm in the Gaziantep region, wich has activity in domestic and international markets and whose field of activityis textile, cement and food industry has been analised.
