Abstract

Dr. Mehmet TAKKAÇ Bu çalışmada, ortaçağ dramının ladinileşmesi ve bu süre içinde oyunların geçirdiği değişim evreleri incelenmektedir. Üç ana bölümden oluşan bu çalışmada birinci bölüm, kilise dramının biçimlenişine ayrılmıştır. Bu bağlamda konuyla ilgili İncil'de geçen metinler verilerek ilk gösterimlerle bu metinler arasındaki ilişki gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde, kilisede doğan ve gelişen ortaçağ tiyatrosunun nasıl ladinileşmeye başladığı ve kilise merkezli öğelerden nasıl arındığı konu edilmiştir. Oyunların uzamsal ve zamansal değişimi anlatılmış, anadile geçiş evreleri incelenmiştir. Mucize ve gizem oyunlarındaki konusal değişimi yansıtabilmek için günümüze kadar gelen İngiliz zincirlemelerinden örnekler verilmiştir. Vaazlarda ve bunların sonucu ortaya çıkan tinsel oyunlarda, ara oyunlarda ve mezhep çatışmalarında kullanılan oyunlarda da aynı yöntem izlenmiştir. Bu yönde örnek verilebilecek en önemli oyunlar ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü ve son bölümdeyse daha önceki iki bölümde anlatılan değişimlerin bir sonucu olarak Thomas Sackville ve Thomas Norton'un birlikte yazdıkları Gorboduc adlı oyun incelenmiştir.

Prof. Dr. Ibrahim YEREBAKAN : Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet TAKKAÇ This study deals with the secularisation of medieval drama and change phases within this period. It consists of three main chapters. The first chapter is about the formation of the church drama. In this context, the relation between the first plays and the texts in Bible is studied. In the second chapter, secularisation of the medieval drama and its purification from the church-centered elements are discussed. In connection with this, place and time changes in plays are explained and the transition phases to vernaculars are studied. In order to reflect the changes in subjectmatter, some examples from English cycles are presented. In homilies and so in moralities, in interludes and in the plays of religious conflicts the same method is pursued. In this sense, the most important plays are examined. In the third and the last chapter, as a result of the changes explained in previous chapters the play, Gorboduc, written together by Thomas Sackville and Thomas Norton is studied.
