Yavuz KONCA YardDoçDr. Mehmet KÖK Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye'deki mevcut öğretmenlerin nitelikleri ile gelecekte olması gereken öğretmen niteliğine ilişkin görüşleri incelemek ve bu doğrultuda araştırma yapmaktır. Çalışma sekiz bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci Bölümde Genel Eğitim Sistemi, İkinci Bölümde, Türk Eğitim Sistemi, Üçüncü Bölümde Türk Milli Eğitim Sisteminin Genel Yapısı, Dördüncü Bölümde Türk Öğretmen Yetiştirme Sistemi, Beşinci Bölümde Öğretmen Yetiştirme Sistemimizin Kalkınma Planlarındaki Yeri, Altıncı Bölümde Eğitim, İnsan Gücü ve Niteliği, Yedinci Bölümde Yöntem, Sekizinci Bölümde Mevcut ile Geleceğin Öğretmeni Arasındaki Beklentiye İlişkin Bulgular ve Yorumlar araştırılmış ve incelenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin yapısal konumu, etkinlikleri, eğitimi incelenmiş, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti' nin kuruluş öncesi ve sonrası öğretmenlik eğitimi ile ilgili yaklaşımlar araştırılmış, öğretmenlerin sosyal statüleri, istihdamları, eğitimleri ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiş ve sonuç olarak mevcut öğretmenlerin niteliklerine yönelik kişisel, sosyal, meslek ve alan bilgileri ile geleceğin olması gereken öğretmen niteliğine ilişkin bir anket düzenlenmiştir. Anket `Müfettiş, Okul İdarecisi, Akademisyen ve Veliler` olmak üzere 463 deneğe uygulanmış, anket sonuçlarına göre mevcut öğretmenler hakkında olumsuz görüşler olduğu ve geleceğin olması gereken öğretmen niteliğine yönelik farklı yaklaşımlar ortaya çıkmıştır.

Yavuz KONCA Assist.Prof.Dr. Mehmet KÖK The purpose of this study is to examine the views related to the qualities of today's teacher's and the qualities that the teachers of future should have The study consists of eight sections. In the First Section general education systems, in the Second Section Turkish education system, in the Third Section the general structural of Turkish National education, in the Fourth Section Turkish teacher's training system, in the Fifth Section the positions of teacher's training system in the development plans, in the Sixth Section education, human power and quality, in the Seventh Section Method, in the Eighth Section the findings and comments between the present and future teachers have been examined and discussed The structural position, education and activities of the teachers have been examined, the approaches related to the teaching profession before and after the foundation of The Turkish Republic have been studied, theoretical information about the education, employment and their social status has been given and finally a survey has been carried out about the fields, profession, social status, personality related to the qualities that the present teachers have and the future teachers should have. The survey was applied to 463 test subjects people `inspectors, school directors, academicians and parents` according to the survey results it came out that there are negative views about the present teachers and there are different views related. to the qualities that the future teachers should have
