Lise öğrencilerinin mesleki değer ve tercihleri ile psikolojik ihtiyaçları arasındaki ilişkiler

Abstract

Dr. Sırrı AKBABA Y.Doç. Dr. M. Zeki H.GAR Y.Doç. Dr. Turhan KAYA Bu araştırmada, lise öğrencilerinin mesleki değer ve tercihleri ile psikolojik ihtiyaçları arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi 2001-2002 öğretim yılında Erzurum il merkezindeki resmi liselerde okuyan lise 1. 2. ve 3. sınıf öğrencilerinden 217 kız ve 112 erkek olmak üzere toplam 329 öğrenci seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilerek oluşturulmuştur. Öğrencilerin psikolojik ihtiyaçları Edwards tarafından geliştirilen dilimize çevirimi ve standardizasyonu Kuzgun (1985) tarafından yapılan ` Edwards Kişisel Tercih Envanteri`, mesleki değer ve sayısal-sözel yetenek alanlarının belirlenmesi için de Kuzgun (1988) tarafından geliştirilen ` Kendini Değerlendirme Envanteri` ve bazı değişkenleri tespit etmek amacıylada araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ` Kişisel Bilgi Formu` kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre lise öğrencilerinin başarma ihtiyacı-ün sahibi olma değeri, gösteriş ihtiyacı-ün sahibi olma değeri, düzen ihtiyacı-düzenli yaşam değeri, özerklik ihtiyacı- değişiklik değeri, değişiklik ihtiyacı-değişiklik değeri, saldırganlık ihtiyacı-yarışma değeri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki elde edilmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra uyarlık ihtiyacı-işbirliği değeri, başatlık ihtiyacı-liderlik değeri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki ortaya çıkmamıştır. Yüksek ve düşük puanlı meslekleri tercih eden öğrencilerin psikolojik ihtiyaçları arasındaki farka bakıldığında başarma, düzen ve sebat ihtiyacı yüksek puanlı meslekleri tercih eden öğrencilerin lehine çıkmıştır. Sayısal yetenek alanını tercih eden öğrencilerle, sözel yetenek alanını tercih eden öğrencilerin psikolojik ihtiyaçlarına bakıldığında başarma ihtiyacı sayısal yetenek alanım tercih eden öğrencilerin lehine çıkmıştır. Sayısal ve sözel yetenek alanım tercih eden öğrencilerin psikolojik ihtiyaçlarının büyük çoğunluğu farklılık göstermemektedir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Mesleki değer, psikolojik ihtiyaçlar.

Prof. Dr. Sırrı AKBABA Assistant Prof.Dr. M.Zeki BLGAR Assistant Prof.Dr. Turhan KAYA It's studied, in this research,the relations between the choices and vocational values of the high school students and their psychological needs. The example of the research has been formed by 217 girl andll2 boy students selected by the methodof without selection sample,studied in the official high school in Erzurum Centrum in 2001-2002 Education year. It's used `Edwards Personal Preference Schedule` translated and standartisated by Kuzgun (1985), made progress by Edwards,`Self Evaluation Schedule` made progress by Kuzgun (1988) for determinated the wordal-numeral efficiency branches and vocational value and Personal Information Form made progress by investigator for the purpose of determining the some variations, for the psychological needs of the students. It has gotten, according to the inventions obtained by the research, a suggestive relation between the accomplishment need-the reputation value, the show need-the reputation value, the order need-the orderly life value, the autonomy need-the variation value, the variation need-the variation value, the aggression need-the competition value. It hasn't come into being, however, the relation suggestive between the accomodation need-the cooperation value, the presidency need-the leadership value. The achievement, endurance and order need favoured to the students prefered the profesions high graduated when it has been examinated the difference between the psychological needs of the students prefered the professions high and low graduated. The autonomy need of the students prefered the professions low graduated is more elevated than the students preferd the professions high graduated. The achievement need favoured to the students prefered the numeral efficency branch when it has been examinated the psychological needs prefered numeral efficency branch and wordal efficiency branch. The great majority of the psychological needs of the students preferd the wordal and numeral efficiency branches isn't become different. Key Words: Vocational values, psychological needs
