Dr. Ali KAFKASYALI Bu çalışma; Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı öğretiminin önemli bir parçası olan kompozisyon derslerinde kullanılan Lise 1. sınıf Kompozisyon ders kitabının Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı öğretmenleri tarafından yeterli bulunup bulunmadığının, yeterli görülmeyen niteliklerinin neler olduğunun, öğretmenlerin kitaba bakış açılarında ne tür değişkenlerin etkili olduğunun ve kitabın Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı Ders Kitapları Yönetmeliği'nde belirtilen nicelik ve niteliklere sahip olup olmadığının tespitini yapmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında Gümüşhane, Bayburt ve Erzurum illerinde çalışan 104 Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı öğretmenine `5'li likert tipi` anket uygulanmış, bilgiler bu anket formu ile toplanmıştır. Tez, ağırlıklı olarak bu anket uygulaması sonucunda tespit edilen verilere dayandırılarak geliştirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde `t testi` ve `varyans analizi` olmak üzere iki farklı istatistik metodu kullanılmış olup bu analizler bilgisayar ortamında SPSS for Windows 10.00 Release istatistik paket programı ile yapılmıştır. Kitap, fiziki özellikleri bakımından Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı Ders Kitapları Yönetmeliği ölçüt alınarak değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda, ders kitaplarının Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı öğretmenleri tarafından seçilmesine rağmen, birçok okulda kullanılmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin büyük çoğunluğu kitabı nitelik ve nicelik bakımından yetersiz bulmuştur. Öğretmenlerin kitaba bakış açılarında cinsiyet, kıdem ve mezun olunan okul değişkenlerinin etkili olduğu görülmüştür.

VII ABSTRACT MASTER THESIS A STUDY ON THE HIGH SCHOOL FIRST CLASS TURKISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE COMPOSITION COURSE BOOKS Fatih YALÇIN Supervisor: Associate Proffessor Bamçiçek KIRZIO?LU 2003-187 Jury: Associate Proffessor Bamçiçek KIRZIO?LU Jury: Professor Mukim SA?IR Jury: Associate Proffessor Ali KAFKASYALI This study has been done to determine whether the composition book used at first class of high school and which is an important part of teaching Turkish Language and Literature is considered sufficient or insufficient by the teachers of Turkish Language and Literature, what factors effect the point of view of them and whether the book has the quantity and qualities explained in the Course Books Regulation of the Ministry of Education or not. A public survey, five likert type, has been applied to 104 Turkish Language and Literature teachers working in the borders of Erzurum, Gümüşhane and Bayburt in searching scope, the knowladge has been collected by this public survey form. This thesis has largely been developed bp basing on datum determined by the results of this public survey. Two different statistics, t testing and variance, have been used in analysis of the datum and these packet at computer. The book has been evaluated by considering the criterion of the Course Books Regulation of Ministry of Education in the view of physical charecteristics. It has been determined that although the course book has been chosen by Turkish Language end Literature teachers, it hasn't been used in many schools in the results of the study. A great deal of the teachers have invented the book insufficient in the view of quantity and quality. Even so it has been seen that the differences of sexuality, seniority and the schools from which they have graduated are effective.
