ODABAŞ Prof. Dr. Mustafa YILDIRIM Doç. Dr. Adnan ÖMERUSTAOĞLU Bu çalışmada, savaş sonrası felsefe düşüncesinde önemli bir kavşak noktası olan E. M. Cioran'ın sorunlaştırdığı nihilizm, Tanrı, kötülük problemi, ölüm, intihar, tarih ve ütopya gibi temel kavramları ve sorunları ele alıp değerlendirmeye çalıştık. İki bölümden oluşan tezimizin temel perspektifi, Cioran'ın negativist yaklaşımı üzerine kuruludur. Negativist anlayışıyla Cioran, çağının yeni ontoloji arayışlarına, ontolojinin olanaksızlığı söylemiyle farklı bir bakış açısı getirirken, mevcut yorumlan aşındırmasıyla da ilginç tartışmaların odağı haline gelmiştir. Bu bağlamda Cioran'ın gerek tarihe, ölüme, intihara, Tanrı'ya gerekse de metafiziğe bakışı, felsefesinin doğası itibarıyla nihilizm ve varoluşçuluk ile de ilişkilendirilebilir. Ayrıca çalışmamızın odaklarından biri de, Cioran düşüncesinin, bu iki felsefi eğilimle ilişkilerini serinlemek olmuştur.

Prof. Dr. Adnan ÖMERUSTAO?LU In this thesis, we have tried to evaluate the basic concepts and questions, such as nihilism, God, the problem of evil, death, suicide, history and Utopia, which E.M. Cioran, one of the key figures in the post-war philosophical thought, problematized. The main perspective of the thesis, including two chapters, is based on the negativist approach of Cioran. Having eroded the comments present on the scene of philosophy, Cioran has become a focus of the interesting debate while he put forward a different standpoint to new ontological searching by his discourse of the impossibility of ontology. In this context, Cioran' s thought about both history, death, suicide, God and metaphysics can be related to nihilism and existentialism. Moreover, one focus of the thesis is to expose the relation between Cioran' s thought and these two philosophical tendencies.
