Modern resim sanatında geometri

Abstract

Insanlik tarihi içerisinde bilimsel açidan önemli bir yeri ve kullanimiolan geometrinin sanata yansimasi da dogal bir sonuçtur. Geometrikbiçimlerin resim sanatinin tarihi sürecinde birçok dönemde kullanimalanina sahip olusunun göstergeleri de sanat eserleridir. Sanat tarihisürecinde sanat akimlarinin ayirici özelliklerini belirleyen unsurlar,farkliliklar çok çesitli olmustur. Bu ayirici unsurlardan biri degeometrik formlardir. Evrende var olan geometrik biçimlerin modernsanat akimlarinda kullanimi üzerine hazirlanan bu çalismadageometrik biçimleri içinde barindiran sanat akimlari, temsilcileri veyapitlari hakkinda bilgi verilmeye çalisilmistir. Geometrinin modernresim sanati tarihi içerisinde yeri ve önemi ortaya konulmayaçalisilmistir. Modern resim sanatini olusturan akimlar ve öncülerininfelsefeleri hakkinda bilgi verilmistir. Akimlarin ve sanatçilarineserlerinden örnekler verilmis ve bilgi temeline dayali geometrikçözümlemeleri yapilmaya çalisilmistir. The reflection of geometry in art is a natural result due to its place and practicein human history in terms of scientific approach. Indicators of the geometric forms thathave a field of practice in various periods during the historic process of art of painting.The elements which determine the distictive characteristics of the art movements anddisparities in the process of the history of art have been varied. One of these distictiveelements is geometric form. This study prepared to explain the practice of geometricforms on modern artistic movements aims at giving information about the artisticmovements that include geometric fo rms, the representatives of the movements andtheir works. In addition to this, it has been tried to elucidate the place of geometry in themodern history of art. Related examples with the movements and the works of theartists have been given, and their geometric analyses have been done due to theinformation base. Besides, geometric elements in our own studies have beencommented.Key words: modern art of painting, artistic movements, geometry, geometric forms
