10. sınıf coğrafya ders kitabının incelenmesi

Abstract

Ders kitapları; en yaygın kullanılan materyallerdir. Bu nedenle öğretim sürecine önemli ölçüde yön vermektedirler.Bu çalışmanın amacı, 10. sınıfta okutulmak üzere Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'nca hazırlanmış olan coğrafya ders kitabının; içerik, biçimsel görünüm, dil ve anlatım, ölçme ve değerlendirme açısından incelenmesine dayanmaktadır.Çalışmada nitel ve nicel araştırma yöntemleri birlikte kullanılmıştır. Hazırlanan anket 45 coğrafya öğretmenine uygulanmıştır. Anketin güvenilirliği Cronbach Alpha katsayısı yöntemi ile 0,79 olarak hesaplanmış ve ayrıca seçilen örneklemin evreni temsil ettiği var sayılmıştır.Ankete katılan coğrafya öğretmenleri, ortaöğretim 10. sınıf coğrafya ders kitabının içerik bakımından yetersizliği ve bilişsel düzeyde birtakım sorunların mevcut olduğu görüşündedir.Anahtar kelimeler: Ortaöğretim, Coğrafya, 10. sınıf Coğrafya Ders Kitabı, İnceleme

Course books are the most educational tools for the teachers and students. Thus, they affect education heavely.The aim of this study is based on the investigation of criteria used for content, formal appearance, measurement and valuation, language and expression in geography course book prepared by Ministry of national Education and used for the 10th grade of the secondary education.Both qualitative and quantitative research methods were used in this study. The questionnaire applied to 45 geography teachers. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was calculated as 0,79 by Cronbach?s alpha coefficient method and it was supposed that the samples which are chosen represent the universe.Geography teachers did not yhink that 10th grade of the secondary education geography course book had appropriate content and they found that there were problems in the cognitive levels of course book.Key Words: Secondary education, Geography, 10th Grade Geography Course Book, Investigation
