Öğretmenlik mesleği genel yeterliklerinin sınıf öğretmenleri ve sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının görüşlerine göre değerlendirilmesi (öğretme ve öğrenme süreci yeterlikleri-öğrenmeyi, gelişimi izleme ve değerlendirme yeterlikleri)

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, öğretmenlik mesleği genel yeterliklerinden; öğretme ve öğrenme süreci yeterlikleri ile öğrenmeyi, gelişimi izleme ve değerlendirme yeterliklerinin sınıf öğretmenleri ve sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının görüşlerine göre değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.Araştırmanın evrenini, 2009-2010 eğitim-öğretim yılında Erzurum ili merkez ilçelerinde görev yapan sınıf öğretmenleri ile Atatürk Üniversitesi Kazım Karabekir Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Bölümü Sınıf Öğretmenliği anabilim dalı son sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise tabakalı örneklem yolu ile belirlenen 41 okuldaki 345 sınıf öğretmeni ve 79 sınıf öğretmeni adayı oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, MEB tarafından yayınlanan ?Öğretmenlik Mesleği Genel Yeterlikleri? dikkate alınarak, araştırmacı tarafından değiştirilmeden, belirlenen 2 ana yeterliğe ilişkin performans göstergeleri 5'li lilert tipi anket haline getirilmiş ve uygulanmıştır.Sınıf öğretmenleri ve sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının görüşlerine ilişkin verilerin analizinde yüzde, frekans, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Öğretmen ve öğretmen adaylarının görüşlerine ilişkin genel ortalamalar arasında anlamlı fark olup olmadığını belirlemek için t-testi yapılmıştır.Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre; sınıf öğretmenleri ve sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının, öğretmenlik mesleği genel yeterliklerinden, ?Öğretme ve Öğrenme Süreci Yeterlikleri? ve Öğrenmeyi, Gelişimi İzleme ve Değerlendirme Yeterlikleri?ne ilişkin performans göstergelerini genellikle olumlu buldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: öğretmen, öğretmen adayı, öğretmen yeterlikleri.

In this research, it was aimed to assess the proficiencies of teaching and learning and the proficiencies of monitoring and evaluating learning and development process according to views of classroom teachers and pre-service classroom teachers on the basis of general proficiencies of teaching profession.The universe of the research consists of the classroom teachers working in the central counties of Erzurum and the four-year students at Classroom Teaching Program of Primary Teacher Education Department of Atatürk University Kazım Karabekir Education Faculty, in 2009-2010 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 345 classroom teachers from 41 different schools and 79 pre-service classroom teachers who were selected by a stratified sampling technique.In the study, as the data collection tool, performance indicators pertaining to two main proficiencies pre-determined by the researcher considering the General Proficiencies of Teaching Profession published by the Ministry of National Education were designed as a 5-point Likert scale and used.In the analysis of data pertaining to the views of classroom teachers and pre-service classroom teachers, the values of percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation were calculated. In order to determine whether there were differences between the views of classroom teachers and pre-service classroom teachers, T-test was used.According to the data obtained in the research, from the general proficiencies of classroom teachers and pre-service classroom teachers, it was inferred that classroom teachers and pre-service classroom teachers found the performance indicators related to ?Proficiencies of Teaching-Learning Process and Proficiencies of Monitoring and Evaluating Learning and Development? positive.Keywords: Teacher, Pre-service teacher, Teacher Proficiencies.
