Abstract

Bu tez, Arap edebiyatı tarihinde, Cahiliye Döneminden (m.500) Sadru'l-İslam Döneminin sonuna (m.661) kadar geçen sürede, bir edebî tür olarak hitabetin gelişimini konu almaktadır. Bu alandaki çalışmamıza kaynak olarak Arap Edebiyatı alanında yazılmış eski kaynaklara ve modern dönemde konuyla ilgili olarak yazılmış eserlere başvurulmuştur. Cahiliye Dönemi ve Sadru'l-İslâm Dönemi olarak iki bölümden oluşan bu çalışma edebî bir tür olan hitabetin çeşitlerini, örneklerini ve temsilcilerini içermektedir. This thesis includes the progress of the rhetoric as a literary genre from the Period of Jahiliyyah (500 A.D) to the end of the Period of Sadru'l Islam (661 A.D) in the history of Arabic Literature. As source for our study in this field, ancient sources written in the Arabic Literature and works written about this subject in modern terms were consulted. The study consisting of two parts as the Period of Jahiliyyah and the Period of Sadru'l Islam includes the kinds, samples and representatives of rhetoric as a literary genre.Key Words: Arabic Literature, Scientific Prose, Rhetoric, Jahiliyyah, Sadru'l-Islam
