Bayburt ilinin coğrafyası

Abstract

Bayburt ili, Doğu Karadeniz Bölümü?nün Yukarı Kelkit-Çoruh Oluğu Yöresi?nde yer almaktadır. Fiziki, beşeri ve ekonomik coğrafya özellikleri açısından bulunduğu bölümün kıyı kuşağından farklı bir karaktere sahiptir. Bu yönüyle il geneli Doğu Karadeniz Bölümü ile Erzurum-Kars Bölümü arasında geçiş özelliği göstermektedir.Bayburt ili, ülkemizin en az nüfusu sahip ve ekonomik yönden geri kalmış illerinin başında gelmektedir. Bu nedenle çalışmada ilin coğrafi özellikleri incelenerek geleceğe yönelik kalkınma plan ve programlarına katkı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda, öncelikle ilin fiziki coğrafya özellikleri analiz edilerek bunların insan ve insan faaliyetlerine etkileri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde ilin nüfus ve yerleşme özellikleri irdelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda en önemli sorunun ekonomik yetersizliklerin ortaya çıkardığı il dışına yönelik göçler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise ilin ekonomik coğrafya özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Neticede iklim ve yeryüzü şekilleri gibi doğal faktörler, tarım ürünlerinin çeşitliliğini tahıl ve yem bitkileri ile sınırlandırmıştır. Diğer taraftan, çayır ve mera alanlarının geniş yer tutması ise hayvancılık, özellikle de büyükbaş hayvancılık faaliyetini ön plana çıkarmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde ise, ilin doğal, beşeri ve ekonomik coğrafya özelliklerine bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan sorunlar ve çözüm önerileri üzerinde durulmuştur.

Bayburt province is located in the vicinity of Upper Kelkit-Çoruh Gulley in the Eastern Black Sea Region. In terms of its physical, social and economic characteristics, the city is different from the other cities on the coastal line. Therefore, it might be said to remain a transitory part between Eastern Black Sea Region and Erzurum-Kars Part.Bayburt is one of the least-developed and least-populated cities of Turkey. Accordingly, the study, focusing on geographical characteristics of the mentioned city, is intended to contribute to future plans and programmes that aim to develop the city. Physical geographical aspects of the city and their effects upon human life and activities are analysed in the study first. The second chapter is related to demographic structure of and settlement in the city. In this context, it has been detected that the most significant problem is the migrations to other cities caused by economic problems. The third chapter deals with economic geographical aspects of the area. Such natural elements as climate and land forms have limited the diversity of agricultural products to grain and forage crops in the area. On the other hand, the fact that meadows and lawns cover a large area in the city has brought bovine breeding to the fore. The conclusion chapter mentions the problems stemming from the natural, social and economic geographical characteristics of the city and offers probable solutions.
