Abstract

Çalışmalara öncülük eden doğal biçimler, soyutlamacı bir gözle incelenmiş ve soyutlama süreci sonunda orijinal biçimden farklı bir sonuca ulaşılmıştır. Soyutlamacı anlayışla, doğadaki nesneler sanat ürününde oldukları gibi değil, farklı yorumlarla yansıtılmaktadır. Yine de ortaya çıkan sanat ürününün, gerçek nesneden izler taşıdığını görmek mümkün olabilmektedir,XX. yy.ın başlarıyla birlikte, sanatçılar doğayı soyutlamaya başlamışlardır. Bu dönemde, bilim, teknoloji ve endüstri alanındaki gelişmeler, toplumsal yaşamın da farklı olmasına neden olmuştur. Bu yeni durum, sanatı da etkilemiş ve sanatçıyı çevreleyen-yeni durum onun farklı arayışlara yönelmesine neden olmuştur. Sanat eserinde artık eskiden olduğu gibi doğa olduğu gibi yansıtılmamış, soyutlamacı bir yaklaşımla ele alınıp, izlenmeye başlanmıştır. Oluşan bu yeni biçim, doğa ile ilgisi olmayan, soyut biçimdir, Doğadan seçilen konular, nesneler, biçimsel olarak incelenmiş ve soyutlamacı bir yaklaşımla ele alınmıştır. Yaşanan bu süreç içinde asıl olan doğal biçimden daha farklı biçimlere ulaşılmıştır. Bu doğal biçimler soyutlanırken kullanılan malzemenin biçimsel özellikleri göz ardı edilmemeye çalışılmıştır. Yeni biçim oluşturulurken malzemenin yönlendirmesi söz konusu olmuştur, bu da farklı biçimlendirme yöntemlerinin ortaya çıkmasını sağlamıştır.Çağdaş sanatın anlatım dillerinden olan soyutlamacı sanat, ortaya çıktığı ilk zamandan itibaren, sanatsal alanın sınırlarını alabildiğince ortadan kaldırılarak, soyut düşüncenin önünü açmakta etkili bir yöntem olmuştur heykel sanatına yeni olan sanat anlayışını getirmiştir
