Ünye ilçe merkezinin coğrafyası

Abstract

Karadeniz Bölgesinin Orta Karadeniz bölümünde yer alan Ünye ilçesi, idari bakımdan Ordu iline bağlı olup 487 km2 alan kaplamaktadır. Kuzeyde Karadeniz, batısında Samsun ili Terme ilçesi, doğuda Fatsa ve güneyde ise Akkuş ve Kumru ilçeleri yer almaktadır. Çalışma sahası morfolojik özellikler bakımından, çevre yerleşmelere göre daha alçak alanlarda yer almaktadır. Ünye şehrine en yakın yükselti alanını 85m ile Çakır tepesi oluşturmaktadır. Jeolojik özellikleri incelendiğinde ilçe merkezinin bulunduğu konum düz ve düze yakın bir arazi üzerine kuruludur. Bu yerleşmeler, çalışma sahasında yer alan Ceviz, Curi ve Tabakhane gibi dere ve ırmakların taşıdığı alüvyonlar üzerine kuruludur. Orman örtüsüne sahip çalışma alanı, sahil çamı, sedir, göknar ve kestane ağaçlarının doğal yetişme ortamıdır. Ünye merkez ilçesinde toprak türleri bakımından alüvyon, kestane ve kahverengi orman toprakları yaygın göstermektedir.ADNKS göre 2017 yılı itibariyle toplam nüfus miktarı 122.597'dir. 2013 yılında yapılan idari değişiklik neticesinde ilçe mülki sınırı içinde kalan tüm alanlar, şehirsel yerleşim olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bunun sonucunda ise 2013 yılı sonrasında kırsal nüfus sayımına ihtiyaç duyulmamıştır. Ekonomik özellikler bakımından tarım faaliyetler ön planda olup, hayvancılık faaliyetleri içinde arıcılık ön plana çıkmaktadır. Ünye ilçesin de üretilen fındık meyvesi hem yöre halkı hem de ülkemiz açısından bir gelir kaynağı durumdadır. Sanayi faaliyetleri yönünden Ünye ilçesinde Ünye Çimento, Ünye Un ve fındık işleme fabrikaları yöre ekonomisine katkıda bulunmaktadır. Ünye ilçe merkezi Karadeniz sahil yolunda gelişmiş bir ulaşım ağına sahiptir. Turizm arz ve çekicilik potansiyeli yüksek olan ilçede, doğal ve kültürel turizm faaliyetlerinin, uygun planlama ile gelişebileceği ön görülmektedir.

As a result of the administrative change made in 2013, all the areas within the county boundary were considered as urban settlements. As a result, the rural population census was not needed after 2013. In terms of economic characteristics, agricultural activities are preliminary and beekeeping is the foreground in animal husbandry activities. Hazelnut fruit produced in the district of Ünye is a source of income both in terms of local people and our country. Ünye Cement, Ünye flour and hazelnut processing factories contribute to the local economy in Ünye district due to industrial activities. Ünye district center has a developed transportation network on the Black Sea coast road. It is anticipated that natural and cultural tourism activities in the province with a high potential for tourism supply and attractiveness can be developed with appropriate planning.
