Afyon Arkeoloji Müzesi`nden bir grup pişmiş toprak kandil

Abstract

Kandiller, yüz yıllar boyunca insanoğlunun en temel ihtiyaçlarından birisi olmuştur. Bu yüzden kullanıldığı devrin kültürünü en iyi şekilde yansıtmışlardır.Bu çalışmanın konusunu Afyon Arkeoloji Müzesi'nde bulunan bir grup pişmiş toprak kandil oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamındaki kırk iki adet kandil form özelliklerine göre on üç farklı gruba ayrılmıştır. Kandillerin tipolojik ve kronolojik sınıflandırılması yapılmıştır. İncelenen eserler içerisinde en erken tarihli örnek İ.Ö I. yy'ın sonuna verilmiştir. En geç tarihli örnek ise İ.S VIII. yy'a tarihlendirilmiştir. Geniş bir zaman dilimine yayılan kandil çeşitliliği, bölgenin kültürel zenginliğini bizlere yansıtmıştır. Kandillerin büyük çoğunluğunun yerel atölyelerde üretildiği düşünülürken bir kısmının da farklı bölgelerden ithal edilmiş olabileceği savunulmuştur. Müsadere ve satın alma yolu ile müzeye kazandırılan kandiller şuan müze deposunda yer almaktadır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Afyon, Kandil, Pişmiş Toprak

The lamps has been one of the most have need, of mankid for centuries. That is why they reflected the best of the culture used.The subject of this work is a group of terra cotta lamps on the Afyon Archaelogical Museum. Within the spoce of the study. Forty two lamps forms are separated according to the specifications tothre different groups. The typological and chronological of the lamps were done. The carliest example of the artifacts studied ist the before jesus at the end of the first century. The latest example is the VIII. the century after jesus. The range of lamps spread over awide range of time reflects the cultural richness of the region. The majorily of the lamps are thought to have been produced in the local workshops and some of wihch may have been imported from differend regions. The lamps which are removed to the museum through confiscation and purchase are now in the museum deposit.Keywords: Afyon, Lamps, Terracotta
