Abstract

200 SUMMARY Ali Baba was born end of the 15th century or beginning of the 16th century and died in 1574. The Zaviye of Ali Baba was established in the middle of first half of 16tn century. ' It is known that the generations of Ali Baba relationed to Kâdirî, Rufâî and Mevlevî tarlkats since the beginning of 19tn century. Howe ver the tarikat that Ali Baba relationed with it hasn't been known yet decisivenessly. The Zaviye of Ali Baba is a middle size külliye that has been for med cami, tekke, türbe, mektep, çeşme, han, misafirhane etc. foundati ons. In these foundations travellers were entertained, dervishes and poors were satiated and children were educated on religious subjects. The Zaviye, was financed a great degree by the means of Rüstem Paşa and Küçük Ali Baba vakıf s'. The vakıf s' of Ali Baba Zaviye was joined to Evkaf Nezâreti İn 1835 and the vakıf s' went out hand of the genera tions' of All Baba in the beg^ming of 20tn century. The Zaviye, termi nated its activities on to be shut Tekkes' and Zâviyes' in 1925.
