dc.description.abstractPasinler yöresi manyezit cevherinin kalsinas- yonu ve kalsine manyezitin sulu ortamda C02 gazx ile li- çing kinetiği incelendi. Kalsinasyon deneyleri laboratuvar tipi bir kül fxrxnxnda yapxldx. Kalsinasyon sxcaklxgx ve partikül boyutunun a- gırlık kaybx üzerine etkisi incelendi. Bunun için -10+18 -18+40, -40+60, -80+100 ve -140 mesh'lik örnekler 450, 500, 550, 600, 650 ve 7 50°C'de çeşitli sürelerde kalsine edildi. Kalsinasyon agxrlxk kaybx kalsinasyon sxcaklxgxnxn artx- şx, partikül boyutunun küçülmesi ile artmaktadxr. Liçing deneylerinde mekanik karxstxrmalx, ceketli bir cam reaktör kullanxldx ve bu deneylerde 700°C'de 3 st süre ile kalsine edilmiş -40+45, -45+60 ve -60+80 mesh' lik örneklerle çalxşxldx. çözünme kesri üzerine partikül boyutu, liçing sxcaklxgx ve süresi, katx/sxvx oranı, gaz debisi, karxstxrma hxzx ve kalsinasyon sxcaklxgxnxn et kisi incelendi. Çözünme kesri tane boyutu ve katx/sxvx oranının azalxsx ve liçing sxcaklxgxnxn artxsx ile artmaktadxr. Gaz debi si çözünme kesrini fazla etkilememekte, karxstxrma hizx- nxn artxsx ile yavaş bir artxs olmaktadxr. Ayrxca 1000°C'de kalsine edilen örnekte çözünme kesri, daha dü-şük sıcaklıklarda kalsine edilen örneklere göre, düşük bulundu. Kalsine manyezitin sulu CO2 ile liçing kinetiğinin - 0,65 -ln(l-X) = 2,51 (R) exp( -3933/T) [C02 ]T t şeklinde hız ifadesine uyduğu bulundu. îüctivasyon ener jisi 32,7 kJ/mol, Arrhenius sabiti 2,51 hesaplandı.
dc.description.abstractThe object of this study was to investigate calcination of magnesite ore obtained from Erzurum - Pasinler region and leaching kinetics of calcined magnesite with CO2 aqueous medium. A laboratory muffle furnace was used in calcination ex periments. The effect of calcination temperature and particle size on the weight loss were studied. For this purpose, -10+18, -18+40, -40+60, -80+100 and -140 mesh size fractions were calcined at 450, 500, 550, 600, 650 and 750°C in different times. The weight loss increased with the increase of calcina tion temperature and the decrease of particle size. In leaching experiments, a jacketed glass reactor, which is stirred mechanically, was used. The -40+45, -45+60 and -60+80 mesh size fractions calcined at 700°C for 3 hours were used in leaching experiments. The effects of particle size, leaching temperature and time, solid/ liquid ratio, gas flow rate, stirring speed and calcina tion temperature were observed on the dissolution rate. The dissolution rate incraesed with the decrease of par ticle size, solid/liquid ratio and the increase of le aching temperature. The gas flow rate is not more effec tive on the dissolution rate. However, the dissolution rate increased slowly with stirring speed. In addition,dissolution rate of the sample calcined at 1000°C is lo wer than the samples calcined at lower temperatures. The leaching kinetics of calcined magnesite by CO2 in a- queous medium was found as - 0.65 -ln(l-X) = 2,51 (R) exp(-3933/T) [C023T t. The activation energy and Arrhenius constant are calcu lated as 32,7 kJ/mol and 2,51 respectively.en_US
