Za`fi-i Gülşeni hayatı, eserleri, edebi şahsiyeti ve divanının incelenmesi

Abstract

ÖZET§eyh Ali adim tasiyan Za'fû-i Gülşenû, son dönem edebiyat araştırmalanndaAli EmM kaynakh bir bilgi sonucunda yanhs bir şekilde ibrâhûm-i Gülşeni'ninoğlu ve Diyarbakırh olarak gösterilen bir XVI. yiizyıl Osmanh şairdir.Qahsmamızda bu yanhshk tashfh edilmiştir. Bunun yamnda Za'fû mahlası, benzerdiğer bir mahlas olan Zafû ile karistmlagelmiştir. Qahsmamızda şairin kaynaklarmhangilerinde Za'fû, hangilerinde de Zafû olarak yer aldigi ortaya konarak buproblem de cozülmustür.Zafi'nin memleketi kaynaklarda acik bir şekilde yer almamaktadır.RumelVdeki beş şehir hakkında şehrengfzler yazmis olması, şiirlerinde Rumelişairlerinin söyleyiş tarzimn hâkim olması ve XVI. yiizyıl RumelisVndekiMelimffik, Kalenderflik ve Hur^flik gibi akımlann tesirinde kalmis olmasındanöncelikle onun Rumelili olması gerektiği anlasilmaktadır. Ayrıca ?GeliboluluZa'jfi` şeklindeki bir kayıttan onun Gelibolulu olduğu anlasilmaktadır. Zira bukayıttaki Za'ifi'nin ashnda Zafû olduğu ispatlannnstır.Zafi'nin hayâtında en önemli döniim noktası, Kahire'de bulunan İbrâhûm-iGülşeni'ye intisib etmesi ve ondan hilifet almasıdır. Za'fû, İbrihûm-i384Gülşeni'nin ölümünden sonra yerine geçen oğlu Ahmed-i Hay Mi döneminde deGülşeniyye Âsitinesi'ne olan baghhginı sürdürmustür. Zafû, Za'fûyye isimli tâcında sahibidir.Zafû, Hint dünyasimn şu ana kadar haberdar olmadigi bir takım eserler deyazmistır. Aym zamanda bir seyyah olan Zafû, Gelibolu, İstanbul ve Kahire'ninyanmra Rumeli ve Ege bölgesindeki pek çok şehri gezmiş ve bu gezilerindeözellikle Mevlevi sahsiyetlerle ilişkiler kurmuştur.Farsça'ya olan hâkimiyeti, mülemmaları, şehrengûzleri, denizci terimlerinişiirlerinde kullanmasıyla giiclii bir sanatci kişiliğe sahip olan, pek çok şairiokumuş olan, 1566-1570 ydları arasında Kahire'de ölnuistür.

ABSTRACTIn the recent literature research studies, the 16th century Ottoman poetZa?fû Gulshenû, known as Sheyh Ali, has been mistakenly introduced as if he wereborn in Diyarbakir as the son of İbrahim Gulsheni. The present study, first andforemost, aims to correct this misinformation. Besides, in the sources, thenickname Zafû has always been confused with the nickname Zaûfû. In the presentstudy, we clarified this confusion by determining and listing each specific sourcewhere these nicknames, Zafû and Zaûfû, were interchangeably used.Literature resources do not provide us information on Zafi's birth placedirectly. However, firstly, it has been widely understood that he was most probablyfrom the Rumeli region, for he wrote shehrengiz about the five cities in Rumeli,used a Rumelian style in his poems, and was strongly influenced by the Melamû,Kalenderi and Hurûfi schools. Also, a report as ?Gelibolulu Za'ifi` proved that heis from Gallipolu. We proved that Za'jfû who was written in this report, is Zafûindeed.The turning point in Zafi's life is his intisâb to İbrâhûm Gulshenû in Cairoand taking khilafat from Gulshenû. Za?ifû contiuned to be a member of the âsûtaneof Gulshenû during the time of Gulsheni?s successor, his son, Ahmed-i HayaliGulshenû as well. Zafû is also the owner of the tâc (crown) of Za?fûyye.Za?fû also wrote other books which hitherto remained unknown for thescientific world. Zafû, who at the same time was a traveler, not only travelledaround Gelibolu, Istanbul and Cairo but also many cities in the Rumeli andAegean regions, and during these journeys, he developed good relations with theMewlevi personalities.With his deep knowledge on Persian, his shehrengiz and his sophisticateduse of navy terms in his poems, Za?fû had strong artistic characteristics and he wasa well-read poet; however, he has still been considered among the second gradepoets of the second half of 16th century. Za?fû died sometime between 1566 and1570 in Cairo.
