1999-2009 döneminde Türkiye`deki siyasi partilerin Ermeni sorununa bakışı

Abstract

?Ermeni Sorununa Siyasi Partilerin Bakışı? konulu araştırmayı yaparken, siyasi parti temsilcilerine çeşitli soru sorulmuştur.1915'te vuku bulan olaylar Birleşmiş Milletlerin soykırım tarifine uymadığı konusunda Barış ve Demokrasi Partisi haricinde bütün siyasi parti temsilcileri hemfikirdirler. BDP temsilcisi, açıkça soykırım tarifini kullanmamakla birlikte azınlıkların ?sistematik tasfiyesi?, mübadele, tehcir ve katliamla ortadan kaldırılması? gibi ifadeler kullanmıştır.Protokoller konusunda, AKP haricindeki partiler Protokollerin, ?Türkiye'nin çıkarlarına uygun düşmediğini? ve? teslimiyetçi bir dış politika? olduğunu vurgulamışlardır. DTP ise, Protokolleri desteklemektedir.

The research titled ?Political Parties Approach to the Armenian Case? was made through questioning political party representatives with several questions.The fact that ?the incidents which happened in 1915 did not match with the United Nations Genocide definition? was agreed by all political party representatives except Peace and Democracy Party. Although the representative of Peace and Democracy Party did not explicitly use the ?genocide? concept, instead he used expressions like ?systematic elimination of minorities? and ?destruction through population exchange, deportation and massacre?.For the Protocols concluded between Republic of Turkey and Republic of Armenia, all but Justice and Development Party interpreted the protocols as ?against Turkish interests? and emphasized that they were a product of ?submissive foreign policy?. As for Peace and Democracy Party, they give support to the protocols.
