dc.description.abstractEndodontik tedavinin amac na uygun olarak, kök kanallar n n temizlenmesi,ekillendirilmesi ve uygun bir materyalle doldurulmas n n yan s ra, kök kanallar ndaula lamayan bölgelerdeki mikroorganizmalar n ve onlar n toksik ürünlerinintamamen elimine edilmesi gerekmektedir. Bununla birlikte, yaln zca biyomekanikpreparasyon yap larak bu hedefe ula mak her zaman mümkün olmamaktad r.A z bo lu u ve kök kanallar mikroorganizmalar bak m ndan oldukça zenginbir ortama sahiptir. Oral kavite, nazofarenks ve gastrointestinal bölgedeki herhangi birmikroorganizma kök kanal enfeksiyonuna sebep olabilmektedir. Tüm bu nedenlerdendolay , yak n zamanda piyasaya sürülmü olan kök kanal dolgu materyallerininantibakteriyel özelli e sahip olmalar arzu edilmekte ve bu konuda yap lanara t rmalar büyük önem kazanmaktad r.Bu çal may yapmam z n as l amac ; be farkl yap daki kök kanal dolgumateryalinin de i ik test mikroorganizmalar üzerindeki antibakteriyel aktivitelerinide erlendirmektir. Bu hedefe uygun olarak temin edilen be adet bakteri ve bir adetmaya mantar n n Müller-Hinton agar besi yerine ekimi yap ld .Antibakteriyel etkinli i de erlendirilecek olan materyaller be farkl grubaayr ld (1. grup Sealapex, 2. grup Diaket, 3. grup MTA Angelus, 4. grup EndoREZ,5. grup Guttaflow). Üretici firmalar n önerileri do rultusunda haz rlanan materyaller,petri kutular ndaki besi yerleri üzerindeki deliklere yerle tirildi ve 37°C s cakl kta 24saat süreyle inkübe edildi.Disk çukurlar çevresinde olu an inhibisyon zon çaplar ; agar difüzyon testmetodu kullan larak inhibisyon zon ölçe i yard m yla de erlendirildi ve Kruskal-Wallis ile Mann-Whitney U testleri kullan larak analiz edildi.EndoREZ ve Guttaflow, test mikroorganizmalar ndan hiçbirine karinhibisyon alan olu turmam t r. Sealapex, Diaket ve MTA Angelus un tümmikroorganizmalara kar antibakteriyel aktivite olu turdu u, ancak MTAAngelus un yaln zca E.coli türüne kar inhibisyon alan olu turmad belirlenmi tir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Kanal Dolgu Patlar , Endodontik Flora, AntibakteriyelEtki, Agar Difüzyon Testi.
dc.description.abstractAs being convenient to the aim of endodontical treatments, as well as rootcanal cleaning, shaping and filling with a suitable material, elimination ofmicroorganisms and their toxic products in unachievable regions of root canal isnecessary also. However attaining this aim only by biomechanical preparation is notpossible at all times.Oral cavity and root canals have very rich atmospheres on account ofmicroorganisms. Any microorganism in oral cavity, nasopharenx and ingastrointestinal region can cause root canal infection. Because of all this reasonsrecently marketted root canal filling materials are desired to have antibacterialfeatures and researches about this subject gained more importance.The main purpose of this study was to evaluate antibacterial activities of fivedifferent structured root canal filling materials on varied test microorganisms.Plantation of provided five different bacterias and one yeast fungus was done onMüller-Hinton agar nutrition place, appropriate to this objective.Materials, of which antibacterial efficiencies will be evaluated were dividedinto five groups ( Group 1: Sealapex, Group 2: Diaket, Group 3: MTA Angelus,Group 4: EndoREZ, Group 5: Guttaflow). Materials prepared according tomanufacturers recommendations were placed in holes on the petri cultivation boxand were incubated at 37 0C for 24 h.Inhibition zone diameters occured around disk holes were evaluated agardiffusion test method by the help of inhibition zone scale and were analyzed withCruskall-Wallis-Mann Whitney U tests.EndoREZ and Guttaflow did not form inhibition zone against any of the testmicroorganisms. It was defined that Sealapex, Diaket and MTA Angelus createdantibacterial activity against all microorganisms, but( MTA Angelus did not formany inhibition zone only against) other than E.coli.Key Words: Root Canal Sealing, Endodontic Flora, Antibacterial Effect,Agar Diffusion Test.en_US
