Demre Kent Müzesi

Abstract

Demre Kent Müzesi başlıklı tez çalışmamda öncelikle Dünya'da ve Türkiye'de müzecilik biliminin doğuşu ve günümüze kadar olan gelişme süreci incelenmiş. Kent Müzelerini küreselleşen dünyada yenilikçi ve çağdaş bakış açısından değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır.Demre ilçesinin kısaca tarihçesine değinildikten sonra, Türkiye'deki 8 adet kent müzesi incelenmiş ve Demre'ye en uygun kent müzesi önerisi getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Demre ilçesinin etnografik özelliklerini göz ardı etmeden, turizm potansiyellerini kullanmasının yararlarına vurgu yapılmıştır.

In my thesis titled Demre City Museum, firstly the birth and the process of development of museology in the world and in Turkey has been examined. It has been attempted to undertake an evaluation of City Museums from a novel and modern perspective in the globalizing world.After briefly pointing out the history of the township of Demre, the 8 city museums in Turkey has been examined and it has been attempted to produce a suggestion for the most convenient city museum for Demre. The benefits of the utilization of its touristic potentials has been stressed, without ignoring the ethnographic features of Demre town.
