Dr. Sevinç ASAL 1989, Sayfa: 26 Jüri: Yard. Doç.Dr. Sevinç ASAL Doç. Dr. Orhan KAVUNCU Yard. Doç. Dr. Mehmet PEMBECÎ Bu çalışmada, tavuklarda serum transferrin polimor- fizmi araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada, A. Ü. Ziraat Fakültesi, Zootekni Bölümü kümeslerinde yetiştirilen New Hampshire, Hisex ve Beyaz Leghornlardan alman toplam 84 adet (24, 31 ve 29 adet) kan serumu materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Transferrin tiplerinin ayrımı, modifiye edilmiş Poulik (1957) ve Gahne (1961) 'nin kesintili tampon sistemi kulla nılarak, horizontal nişasta-^el elektroforezinde yapılmıştır, Araştırma materyalinin elektroforetik analizi sonunda trans ferrin lokusu monomorf bulunmuştur. In this study, serum transferrin polymorphism in chicken was investigated. The material was consist of New Hampshire, Hisex and White Leghorn breeds present in Agricultural Faculty of Ankara University. 84 blood samples, 24 from New Hampshire, 31 from Hisex and 29 from White Leghorn, were subjected to starch gel electrophoresis. The seperation of transferrin types were carried out with modified discontinous system according to Poulik (1957) soaa. Gahne (1961). Transferrin locus was found to be monomor- phic in all three groups. KEY WORDS: Serum Tf -polymorphism, chicken, starch-gel electrophoresis.en_US
