Equisetum arvense L. (tarla atkuyruğu) ekstraktının idrar söktürücü ve böbrek taşları üzerine etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada E. arvense bitkisinin diüretik ve böbrek taşlarına etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmada E. arvense bitkisinin toprak üstü kısımlarının ekstresi kullanılmıştır. Ekstre enfüzyon veya dekoksiyon yöntemleri ile hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmanın birinci kısmında kobaylara çeşitli konsantrasyonlardaki ekstreler 10 gün süre ile içirilmiş olup hayvanlardan elde edilen idrarların dansiteleri ölçülmüştür. Su içirilen kobaylara göre ekstre içen kobayların idrarlarının dansitesinin düşük olduğunun tesbiti _E.arvense bitkisinin diüretik olduğunu göstermiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci kısmında ekstrenin hangi organa etkili olduğu gösterilmiştir. Kobaylarda üreter ve mesane kasları izole organ banyosunda çeşitli konsantrasyonlarda ekstre muamelesi ile elektrik akımı uygulanmış ve ekstrenin mesane kasına etkili olduğu görülmüştür. Herba Equisetinin (bitkinin toprak üstü kısmı) böbrek taşlarının parçalanmasına da etkili olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu sonuç çeşitli konsantrasyon ve pH' 1 ardaki ekstrelerde böbrek taşlarının 45 gün kadar bekletilmesi ile elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca taşlar ekstre içersinde 22 gün. 37°C'de bekletilip ekstreye geçen kalsiyum miktarı ppm cinsinden ölçülerek taşların bekletilen süre içersinde eridiği sonucuna varılmıştır. In this study the effect of E,arvense plant on diuretic action and kidney stones was investigated. The drog was prepared from aerial parts of the plant by infusion and decoctum methods. In the first part of the study the drog with different concentrations were given the Guinea pig for 10 days and the densi ties of their urine were measured. As a result, it was shown that E.arvense had diuretic action since the urine collected from the treated Guinea, pigs was less dense than that of the urine collected from the specimen given only water. In the second part, it was shown which secretory organ was more affected by the drog. The electric currents were applied to the ureter and the bladder in isolated organ baths with various drog concentrations and it was seen that the drog was more affective on the bladder muscles. It was, also, shown that Herba Equiseti (the aerial parts of the plant) was affective on kidney stones. This result was ob tained after keeping the kidney stones in drogs with various concen trations and pH values for about 45 days. The amount of the Calcium ionis that impregnated to the drog were also measured in 22 days at 37°C; as ppm. It was obvious that the kidney stones were dissolved during the threatment.
