ABSTRACT Ph. D. Thesis THE NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF DIFFERENTIAL ALGEBRAIC EQUATIONS Ercan ÇELİK Atatürk University Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department of Mathematics Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa BAYRAM In this thesis, a method is described for solving systems of differential-algebraic equations arising in mathematical models. The solution for a differential algebraic equation can be expanded up to arbitrary order by using computer algebra systems.
