dc.description.abstract1 ÖZET Doktora Tezi MÎDYAT-NUSAYBIN YÖRESİNDE (MARDİN) DEVONİYEN-TRİYAS BİRİMLERİNİN PALINO-BİYOSTRATİGRAFİSİ Cengiz ALİŞAN Ankara üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Jeoloji Mühendisliği Anabil im Dalı Danışman : Prof. Dr. Vedia TOKER 1994, Sayfa: 197 Jur1: Prof. Dr. Vedia TOKER Prof. Dr. Erol AKYOL Prof. Dr. Yavuz OKAN Bu çalışmada, Midyat-Nusaybin dolayında (Mardin) Türkiye Petrolleri A.O. tarafından açılmış 9 petrol arama kuyusunda Devoniyen-Triyas birimlerinin palino-biyostratigraf ileri yapılmıştır. Palinolojik çalışmalar sonucunda yöreye ait 8 palinozon tanımlanmıştır. Bunlardan ilk ikisi Devoniyen-Karbonifer geçişi, diğer dördü Permlyen ve son ikisi de Triyas yaş konaklarına aittir. Reti spora lepldophyta-Vallatisporltes spp. zonu Geç Fameniyen-Erken Turnezlyen, Spelaeotrlletes balteatus-Vallatisporites spp. zonu ise Tumeziyen-en Erken Vizeyen yaşlı olup Zap grubu çökellerl 1çin karakteristiktir. Permi yen 'de ise, Gulisporltes baculatus-Foveosporites Tabiat us zonu Kaş formasyonu ve Gomaniibrlk formasyonu A üyesinde tanımlanmıştır ve Artinskiyen yaşlıdır. Erken Kunguriyen yaşlı Ext rapunct a tospo r 1 tes f abaef ormi s-Cad 1 ospora dadasensis zonu Gomanl ibrik formasyonu B üyesine aittir. C üyesinde ise Triauitrites proratus-Kraeusel isporites wargalensis ve Lueckisporltes virkkiae-KlauslpoHenites schaubergeri zonları tanımlanmış olup sırasıyla Geç Kunguriyen ve Kazaniyen yaşlıdır. Permiyen mikroflorası, Kathaysiyen, Angariyen, Gondwaniyen ve örameriyen botanik provensleri elementlerini taşıyan, karma bir (mikst) mikroflora özelliği gösterir. Triyas'ta; Aratrisporites saturni-Jerseyiaspora punctispinosa zonu Sk1t1yen-?Erken Anlsiyen, Enzonalasporltes vigens-Triadlspora pUcata zonu ise Anis1yen-Ladin1yen yaşlı olup sırasıyla Uludere ve Bakük formasyonu çökel ler inde tanımlanmıştır. dc.description.abstract11 ABSTRACT Ph.D. Thesis PALYNOMORPH BIOSTRATIGRAPHY OF DEVONIAN-TRIASSIC UNITS, EASTERN MARDİN (SE TURKEY) Cengiz ALÎŞAN Ankara University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Geology Supervisor : Prof. Dr. Vedia TOKER 1994, Page: 197 Jury: Prof. Dr. Vedia TOKER Prof. Dr. Erol AKYOL Prof. Dr. Yavuz OKAN In this study, the palino-bipstratigraphy of the Devon ian-Tr lassie units which were penetrated 1n 9 exploration wells drilled by Turkish Petroleum Corporation in an area around Mldyat-Nusaybin (Mardin) Southeast Turkey was investigated. Totaly 8 palynozones were defined in these units. Among these, the first two belong to Devonian-Carboniferous transition, the four to Permian and final two palynozones to Triassic ages. Retispora lepi dophyta-Va! 1 at1 spori tes spp. and Spelaeotriletes ba 1 teatus-Va 11 at 1 spo r 1 tes spp. spore zones are characteristic for Late Famennian-Early Turnasian and Turnasian-Earliest Visean ages respectively. These two zones were used for the identification of the Zap group elastics in this study. Gulisporites bacul atus-Foveosoor 1 tes lab i at us zone was defined in Kaş formation and A member of Gomani ibrik formation and characterizes Artlnskian age. Extraounctatosporites fabaeformis -Cadiospora dadasensis palynozone was defined in the samples of the Gomaniibrik formation's B member and characterizes Early Kungurian age. Triqultrites proratus -Kraeusel Isporites wargalensis and Luecklsporites vikkiae -Klausi poll en1 tes schaubergeri which were defined in Gomaniibrik formation's C member and characterize Late Kunguri yen and Kazanian ages respectively. The Permian microflora determined in this study is a mixed flora which shows some main features of Cathaysian, Angarlan, Gondwanian and Euramerian paleobotanical provinces. Finally Aratrisporites saturni-Jerseyiaspora punctlspinosa and Enzonalasporites vlgens-Triadispora plica t a palynozone were defined 1n the samples of Uludere and Bakiik formations and these zones represent Schitian-?Early Anisian and Anisian-Ladinian ages respectively.
