Abstract

Dr. Hamil NAZİK Bu araştırma değerlerin yaşam kalitesi üzerindeki rolünü belirlemek amacı ile planlanmış, Tokat il merkezinde kamu sektöründe çalışan 116 evli kadın ve eşleri olmak üzere toplam 232 denek üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada, bireysel-moral ve toplumsal değerlerden oluşan değer sistemleri; mutluluk, yaşam tatmini boyutlarından oluşan yaşam kalitesi ve değer sistemleri ile yaşam kalitesi arasındaki ilişki hem kadının hem de eşinin bakış açısı ile ele alınmıştır. Araştırma kapsamına alınan kadınlar ve erkekler en fazla dostluk ve arkadaşlık ilişkilerinde güven, sevgi, dürüstlük ve doğruluk, en az müzik, edebiyat gibi sanatsal yetenekler ve beceriler bireysel-moral değerlerine önem vermektedirler. Kadınlar çocuk sahibi olma, mutlu bir aile yaşamı, eşlerin birbirine güveni, din ve inanç, bireyin kendisi ile barışık olması, boş zaman bireysel-moral değerlerini erkeklerden daha önemli bulmaktadırlar. Erkekler spor faaliyetleri ve hobiler bireysel-moral değerine kadınlardan daha fazla önem vermektedirler. Kadınlar ve erkekler için en fazla bir toplum mevcut kaynaklarını gelecek nesillerin kullanması için korumalıdır, en az bir toplum mevcut kaynaklarını şimdiki nesil için kullanmalıdır toplumsal değerleri önemlidir. Kadınlar bir toplumda her birey eşit yaşam standardına sahip olmalıdır toplumsal değerini erkeklerden daha önemli bulmaktadırlar.11 Araştırmada yaşam kalitesinin mutluluk ve yaşam tatmini boyutları incelenerek subjektifbir değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Yaşam kalitesinin mutluluk boyutunda eşlerin büyük çoğunluğu yaşamlarını mutlu olarak değerlendirmişlerdir. Yaşam kalitesinin yaşam tatmini boyutunda ise eşlerin ülke yönetimi, yerel yönetim, ekonomik yapı, toplumsal yapı, hizmet ve olanaklar, eğitim, meslek, komşuluk ilişkileri, dostluk ve arkadaşlık ilişkileri, konut, boş zaman, aile yaşamı, bireylerin kendileri, bireylerarası ilişkilerden duydukları tatmin belirlenmiş ayrıca kadınlar ve erkekler arasında bu konulardaki tatminin farklılığı da istatistiksel yöntemlerle açıklanmıştır. Değerlerin yaşam kalitesi üzerindeki rolünün belirlenmesinde eşlerin bireysel-moral değerlere verdikleri önem ile yaşam kalitesinin sübjektif belirleyicileri arasındaki ilişki ele alınmıştır. Prof. Dr. Hamil NAZİK This researches has been planned with the objective of determining the role of values on the quality of life. 116 married women and their husbands who were employed in public sector, in city of Tokat, were taken to form the subjects of the study and they all together totaled 232 persons. In the research, individual-moral and social values that formed the value systems, the happiness, life satisfaction were seen as the dimensions of the quality of life. The subject of relationship, between the value system and the quality of life, was taken as the topic of study, both by basing on the point of view of the women and of their husbands. The women and men included in the scope of the research placed the most value to such traits including friendship and intimacy relations, confidence, admiration, honesty and trustfulness. Among valued the least was placed on music, literature and similar artistic traits. Women, find it more important, to have a child, to have a happy family life, mutual confidence between couples to have religious beliefs, to be at peace with one-self, to have leisure time individual-moral values. They emphasize these values more than the men. Men places more importance on the individual-moral values about sportive activities and hobbies. Far both women and men, the most highly valued social value is the protection of the present resources of the society for use by future generations and the least valued one is to use of theIV present resources of the society for the current generation. Women placed more positive value on the statement every individual of the society should have equal standard of living than men. In the research, the dimensions of the happiness and life satisfaction as aspects quality of life were observed and a subjective evaluation of these terms are made. With respect to happiness dimension of the quality of life, a significant majority of the couples, evaluated their lives as happy. Whereas with respect to dimension termed as the satisfaction from life, the government of the country, local governments, economic structure, social structure, service and means, education, vocation, neighbor relations, friendship and accompany relations, housing, leisure time, family life, the individual themselves, the inter personal relations and the satisfaction experienced with respect to these were determined for the couples. Furthermore, the difference of the satisfaction, in these subjects, experienced by women and men, were explained by using a statistical method. In determining the role of values on the quality of life, the relationship of the placed on the individual-moral values by the couples and the subjective determinants of the quality of life were studied.
