dc.description.abstractÖZET Yüksek Lisans Tezi Kırşehir Yöresindeki Su Sıçanı, Arvicola terrestris L. 1758 (Mammalia:Rodentia)' in Esteraz (Es) ve Kan Serum Proteinlerinin Elektroforetik Özellikleri Ceren İYÎGÜN Ankara Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Biyoloji Anabilim Dalı Danışman: Yrd. Doç. Dr. Reyhan ÇOLAK özet: Bu çalışmada, Kırşehir yöresindeki 4 Iokalitede 27 Arvicola terrestris örneğinin kan serum proteinleri SDS-PAGE (sodium dodecyl sulphate - polyacıylamide gel electrophoresis) ve 30 örneğin esteraz enzimleri ise nişasta jel elektroforez yöntemiyle incelendi. Albumin bölgesi monomorfik iken globnlin, prealbumin ve postalbümin bölgelerinde varyasyon belirlendi. Globulin bölgesinde 7-13 bant, postalbOmin bölgesinde 1-2 bant, albümin bölgesinde 1 bant ve prealbumin bölgesinde ise 2-4 bant gözlendi. Esteraz enziminde tek lokus tarafından kodlanan 2 alel tespit edildi. A alel frekansı 0.362, B alel frekansı 0.638 olarak saptandı. Heterozigotluk oranı ise 0.5 olarak belirlendi. 2003, 39 sayfa. Electrophoretic Aspects of Esterase (Es) and Blood Serum Proteins of Water Vole, Arvicola terrestris L. 1758 (Mammalia:Rodentia) in Kırşehir Province Ceren ÎYİGÜN Ankara University Graduate School of Nature and Applied Science Department of Biology Supervisor: Assist. Prof. Dr. Reyhan ÇOLAK In this study, blood serum proteins of twenty seven specimens of Arvicola terrestris in four localities in Kırşehir Province were examined using SDS-PAGE (sodium dodecyl sulphate - polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis) technique and esterase enzymes of thirty specimens using starch gel electrophoresis technique. It was determined that there were variations, in globulin, prealbumin and postalbumin regions, while albumin region was monomorphic. There were 7-13 bands in globulin region, 1-2 bands in postalbumin zone and 2-4 bands in prealbumin zone. It was determined that esterase enzyme had two alleles (A and B) which were coded by one locus. A and B alleles frequencies are 0.362 and 0.638, respectively.
