dc.description.abstractBatı Karadeniz bölgesinde yer alan Yaylacık Araştırma Ormanı, fitososyolojik açıdan Avrupa-Sibirya flora bölgesinin Öksin alanında yer almaktadır. Karadeniz öncesi dağ katında bulunan araştırma alanı, karadenizden gelen nemli hava kütlelerinin etkisi altındadır. Bu nedenle daha fazla yağış almakta olup, denizel iklimin etkisi görülür. Kuzey bakılı bu alanlarda Fagus orientalis hakimdir. Güney bakılı yamaçlar, güneşin kurutucu etkisine maruzdur. Bu alanlarda genellikle bozuk formlu Quercus petraea ssp. iberica'nın hakim olduğu ormanlar yayılış göstermektedir.Araştırma alanında 527 adet bitki taksonu tespit edilmiştir. Alandaki hakim vejetasyon tipi orman formasyonudur. Braun-Blanquet metoduna göre araştırılan orman vejetasyonunda 4 bitki birliği ile 4 alt birlik tanımlanmış ve 3 bitki grubu belirlenmiştir. dc.description.abstractThe Yaylacık Forestry Research area is located in the western Black Sea region. From the phytogeografical point of view, it is located in the Euxine provense of the Euro-Siberian floristic region.The research area spread on the montane zone of the pre-Black Sea (Prepontic) region, is under the influence of moistured weather masses coming from Black Sea. Therefore, the area has a rainy climate, indicating the influence of oceanic climate. Fagus orientalis forest is dominant on the nort slopes. The South slopes in the area are subject to the influence the sun light causing relative drougt. Misshapen Quercus petraea subsp. iberica forest has wide distrubition in this area.In the study area 527 plant taxa were determinated. Dominant vegetation type is forest formation. The vegetattion of the area was studied according to Braun-Blanquet approach and classified into 4 associations, 4 subassociations and 3 plant groups was determined.
