dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nden toplanan Origanum vulgare L. spp. vulgare bitkisine ait örneklerden elde edilen metanol, petrol eteri, kloroform, etil asetat, n-butanol, su özütleri ve n-butanol özütünden saflaştırılan Luteolin-7-O-glukuronit, Luteolin-7-O-ksilozit, Rozmarinik asit, Litospermik asit ve Litospermik asit B etken maddelerinin mutajenik ve antimutajenik özellikleri Ames/Salmonella ve E. coli WP2 kısa zamanlı test sistemleri kullanılarak araştırılmıştır.Yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda özütler ve etken maddelerin uygulanan konsantrasyonlarda mutajenik etki göstermediği, buna karşın özütlerin bazı konsantrasyonlarının NaN3, 9-AA ve MNNG mutajenlerine karşı %1,96 (TA1535-Kloroform Ö. ? 5 ?g/petri) ile %41,81 (WP2 ? n-butanol Ö. ? 5 ?g/petri) oranları arasında ve etken maddelerin %0,15 (WP2 ? Litospermik asit B ? 2 ?M/petri) ile %71,80 (TA1537 ? Litospermik asit B ? 1,6 ?M/petri) oranları arasında antimutajenik etki gösterdiği belirlenmiştir.
dc.description.abstractIn the present study, mutagenic and antimutagenic properties of methanol, petrolium ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate, n-butanol, and water extracts from Origanum vulgare L. spp. vulgare collected from Eastern Anatolia Region and Luteolin-7-O-glucuronide, Luteolin-7-O-xyloside, Rosmarinic acid, Lithospermic acid, and Lithospermic acid B compounds isolated from the n-butanol extract were evaluated by using Ames/Salmonella and E. coli WP2 short term test systems.The results showed that any extracts or active compounds did not show mutagenic effect at tested concentrations. Furthermore, several concentrations of the extracts and active compounds showed antimutagenic activity against NaN3, 9-AA and MNNG mutagenicity. The antimutagenic activities ranged from 1,96% (TA1535 ? Chloroform E.. ? 5 ?g/plate) to 41,81% (WP2 ? n-butanol E. ? 5 ?g/plate) for the extracts and ranged from 0,15% (WP2 ? Lithospermic acid B ? 2 ?M/plate) to 71,80% (TA1537 ? Lithospermic acid B ? 1,6 ?M/plate).en_US
