dc.description.abstractÖZET Erciyes Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Tıbbi ve Cerrahi Araştırma Labo- ratuvarmda gerçekleştirilen çalışmamızda 40 ratın 80 gözünde 1 N NaOH ile deneysel olarak alkalen kornea yanığı oluşturuldu. Ratlar dört gru ba ayrıldı. İlk gruba 14 saat boyunca saat başı % 10'luk sitrat, ikinci gruba % 10'luk askorbat, üçüncü gruba % 0.1 'lik retinol palmitat damla tıldı ve dördüncü grup olarak alınan kontrol grubuna da sadece serum fizyolojik damlatıldı. Her grupta tedaviye 7 gün boyunca 2x1 olarak de vam edildi. Üçüncü hafta sonunda korneal iyileşme, sitrat grubunda % 90, askorbat grubunda % 50, retinol palmitat grubunda % 55.56, kontrol grubunda % 50 olarak bulundu. Sitrat grubundaki korneal iyileşme oranı, diğer gruplara göre istatistiksel yönden önemli oranda yüksekti (P<0.05).
dc.description.abstractSUMMARY Alkaline corneal burns have been experimentally induced with 1 N NaOH in 80 eyes of 40 rats which were divided into four groups in Medical and Surgical Experimental Laboratory of Erciyes university School of Medicine. During the 14 hours, hourly 10 % citrate has been administered to first group, 10 % ascorbate has been administered to second group, 0.1 % retinol palmitate has been administered to third group and only normal saline has been administered to control group. The b.i.d. treatment with appropriate solution was continued for 7 days after the first day. At the end of the 3 weeks, there was 90 % corneal healing in citrate group, this rate was 50 % in ascorbate group, 55.56 % in retinol palmitate group, and 50 % in control group. Corneal healing rate in the citrate group was significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.05).en_US
