dc.description.abstract | 43 ÖZET: Bu çalışmanın amacı egzersizin,migrenlilerde plazma beta-E düzey lerine ve migrenin klinik seyrine etkilerini araştırmaktır.Hastalara 10 daki kalık submaksimal treadmill egzersizi ve 6 haftalık aerobik ev egzersizi yaptınlmıştır.Kırkaltı migren hastası (16-42 yaş,ortalama 30.09 ± 7.03) tre admill ve bu hastalardan 20'si (19-42 yaş,ortalama 32.25 ± 7.53) aerobik ev egzersizi yapmıştır.Hastalann ortalama beta-E düzeyleri;treadmill egzersi zinden önce 34.74 ± 2.49 pikogram/ml ve sonra 83.49 ± 6.38 pikog- ram/ml,aerobik ev egzersizinden sonra 81.38 ± 6.99 pikogram/ml bulun- muştur.Ev egzersizinden önce Mİ (6.90 ± 0.70) ve TAÎ (64.4 + 8.16),egzer- sizden sonra Mİ (3.95 ± 0.75) ve TAÎ (30.65 ± 6.82) bulundu.Hem tread mill hem de aerobik ev egzersizinden sonra plazma beta-E artışı ile ev eg zersizinden sonra Mî ve TAÎ azalması istatistiki olarak anlamlı bulundu.44 Bu bulgular,migrenli hastalarda endojen opioid bir peptid olan beta- E'nin plazma düzeyinin egzersiz ile arttığım,egzersizin baş ağrısının sık- lık,süre ve şiddetini azalttığını göstermekte ve egzersizin migren profîlaksi- sinde ilaçlara alternatif daha ekonomik bir tedavi yöntemi olabileceğini dü şündürmektedir. | |
dc.description.abstract | 45 SUMMARY The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of exercise on plasma beta-E levels and migraine course in migraine sufferers.Patients exercised on treadmill for ten minutes at a submaximal speed and perfor med aerobic exercise at home for six weeks.Fourty six patients with migra ine (agelö to 42 years,mean 30.09±7.03) exercised on treadmill and twenty of them (age 19 to 42 years,mean 32.25±7.53) performed aerobic exercise at home.Mean plasma beta-E level of patients is 34.74±2.49 picogram/ml before treadmill exercise.After treadmill exercise mean plasma beta-E level is 83.49±6.38 picogram/ml and aerobic exercise at home is 81.38±6.99 pi- cogram/ml.Before exercise at home Migraine Index (MI) was 6.90±0.7046 and Pain Total Index (PTI) was 64.4±8.16 and after the aerobic exercise MI was 3.95+0.75 and PTI was 30.65±6.82.After the exercise both on tre admill and aerobic exercise at home,the plasma beta-E level increased and after exercise at home MI and PTI decreased significantly. These results support that the level of beta-E which is one of the en dogenous opioid peptides increases in plasma through.exercise and exerci se decreases frequency »duration and intensity of headache in patients with migraine and exercise can be a prophylactic therapeutic method which rat her echonomic alternative to drugs. | en_US |
