In the present study, the magnesite samples were collected from two magnesite mines placed in Kütahya-Eskişehir region and the isolation studies of the microorganisms with magnesite enrichment potential from the ore samples were done. The identification and characterization studies of the isolates were done by using conventional (morphological, physiological and biochemical) and molecular (16S rDNA PCR and ITS PCR analysis) techniques. According to the results, 3 isolate were assigned to Bacillus sp, 2 isolates to Arthrobacter sp., 3 isolates to Bacillus atrophaeus, 1 isolate to Bacillus drentensis, 2 isolate to Paenibacillus sp., 1 isolate to Bacillus thuringiensis, 1 isolate to Microbacterium schleiferi, 1 isolates to Bacillus circulans, 1 isolate to Streptomyces sp., 1 isolates to Terribacillus aidingensis, 3 isolates to Bacillus simplex, 1 isolate to Bacillus endophyticus and 1 isolates to Bacillus idriensis; According to results of fungi isolation, 3 isolates to Aspergillus alliaceus, 1 isolate to Penicillium chrysogenum, 4 isolate to Penicillium sp., 2 isolate to Fusarium tricinctum, 2 isolate to Aspergillus flavus, 1 isolates to Aspergillus leporis and 1 isolate to Aspergillus nomius.en_US
