Türkiye`de Türkçü−Turancı düşüncenin kökleri ve Irkçılık−Turancılık davası

Abstract

Türkiye'de, İkinci Dünya Savaşı yıllarında, milliyetçi kesimin yargılandığı bir dava görülmüştür. `Irkçılık-Turancılık Davası` olarak siyasal hayatta yerini alan bu dava, cumhuriyet tarihinin siyasi yönü en bağır basan davalarından birisidir. Gerek soruşturma gerekse de kovuşturma evresinde Türkçülere yaşatılan acı, ıstırap ve işkencelerle tarihteki yerini almıştır. Dönemin cumhurbaşkanı İsmet İnönü ve ekibinin, Türkiye'yi savaş koşullarından uzak tutabilme ve ülkenin doğru zamanda doğru tarafta olabilmesini sağlama amacıyla giriştikleri hamlelerden birisi, Sovyet Rusya ile iyi ilişkiler kurabilmek için içerideki Sovyet düşmanlarını cezalandırmaktı. İçerideki en azılı Sovyet düşmanları ise soydaşlarının Sovyet boyunduruğunda olmasından dolayı Türkçü-Turancılar idi. Savaşta ibrenin Sovyetler lehine dönmesiyle birlikte, Irkçılık-Turancılık operasyonu başlatılmıştır ve Sovyetlerin bu göz boyama hamlesine kanmadığı kabul edilinceye kadar da sürmüştür. Türk siyasal hayatında, savaş dönemine kadar ve savaş döneminden sonra hiçbir zaman yönetici elitlerin hışmına uğramamış olan Türkçüler, `Irkçılık-Turancılık` adlı bir operasyon ile bir anlamda devlet terörüyle tanışmıştır. Almanlara karşı olunduğunu ispat ve Sovyetlere yaranmak uğruna, birçok Türkçü, tevkifat ve işkencelere maruz bırakılmıştır. Bugün `Türkçülük Günü` olarak kutlanan 3 Mayıs 1944 gösterisi ile başlayan üç yıllık süreç, Türkçülüğe büyük bedellerin ödetildiği bir dönemdir. Bu çalışmada İkinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında Avrupa merkezli gelişmeler ve sonuçlarının Türkiye'deki Türkçüleri nasıl etkilediği ve Türkçülerin hangi gerekçelerle nasıl muamelelere maruz bırakıldıkları `Irkçılık-Turancılık Davası` tahlil edilmiştir.Anahtar kelimeler: Türkiye, İkinci Dünya Savaşı, Irkçılık-Turancılık Davası, İsmet İnönü, Türkçü, Turancı, 3 Mayıs 1944.

During the World War II, there was a case in Turkey where the nationalists went to trial. This case known in the political sphere as `Racism-Turanism Case` is one of the cases in the history of republic that had most intense political aspect. The sufferings, torments and tortures that Turkists were subjected took its place in the history.One of the attempts by the president of the republic of that time, Ismet Inonu and his team in order to keep Turkey off the war and to ensure that the country was at the right side at the right time was to punish the Anti-Soviets so as to keep good relationships with the Soviet Union. The fiercest anti-Soviets in the country were Turkists-Turanists due to the fact that their cognates were under the yoke of Soviet Union. As the war progressed in favor of Soviets, the operation of Racism-Turanism was triggered and it went on until it was accepted that Soviets didn't fall for this move of window-dressing.Turkists who had never incurred the wrath of the governing elite in Turkish political life until and after the period of war were introduced with the state terror as a result of the operation called `Racism-Turanism.` In order to prove the opposition to Germany and to ingratiate themselves with Soviets, they subjected many Turkists to detainment and torture. The three year course starting on May 3rd, 1944 which is celebrated today as the Turkism Day was a period when the Turkists were made to pay a big price. In this study, it was analyzed how the European centered progression and its consequences had an impact upon Turkists in Turkey during the World War II and what procedures and with what justifications the Turkists were subjected to as a result of `Racism-Turanism Case.`Keywords: Turkey, World War II, Racism-Turanism Case, Ismet Inonu, Turkist, Turanist, May 3rd, 1944
