dc.description.abstractÖZET Bu çalaşma ile, kazalçam ve sahilçamanda tohum büyüklü ğü ve ağ ir lı garı m, çimlenme yüzdesine, fidan boyuna ve fidan kalitesine etkileri incelenmiş ve istatistiki yöntemlerle de ğerlendirilmiştir. Sahilçamanda 2 orjin, kazalçamda 7 orjin olmak üzere toplanı 9 orjin üzerinde çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Kızılcam to humları 5 ve 4 tnm. çaplı eleklerde elenerek, sahilçaını tohum ları ise makroskopik olarak 2 `büyüklük sınıfına ayrılmıştır. Sınıflandırılan tohumlar tartılarak 1000 tane ağırlıkları he sap edilmiştir. Nisan 1987 de Orman Pak. serasında, her büyüklük sınıfı na ait tohumlar, Tesadüfi Bloklar Desenine göre 3 yinelemeli olarak ekilmiştir. Yine her büyüklük sınıfına dahil (3x100) tohum Örneği Rodewald çimlendirme aletinde çimlendirmeye alın mıştır. Çimlenen tohumlar sayılarak çimlenme yüzdeleri bulun muş ve çimlenme eğrileri çizilmiştir. Ekilen tohumlardan çıkan fideciklerin kotiletonları sa yılmış ve Ekim 1987 de fiuanlar sökülmüştür. Sökülen fidanla rın boyu, kök boğazı çapı,, taze ağırlığı, taze gövde ve kök ağırlıkları ölçülmüştür. Taze ağırlıklar ölçüldükten sonra ta ze gövae ve kökler 105 C de 24 saat bekletilerek kurutulmuş tur. Kurutma işleminden sonra kuru gövde ve kök ağırlıkları bulunmuştur. Bu işlemlerden sonra 1000 tane ağırlığı ile kotileton sayısı arasındaki ilişkiyi bulmak amacıyla regreasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Tohum büyüklüğü ve ağırlığı ile çimlenme yüzdesi, fidan boyu, fiuan taze ve kuru ağırlığı ile fidan kök boğazı çapı arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırma amacıyla varyans analizi yapılmıştır. Regreasyon analizi sonucu, 1000 tane ağırlığı ile koti leton sayışa arasında doğrusal bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Varyans analizi sonucu tohum büyüklüğünün sahil çamında çimlenme yüz desini etkilemediği, kızılcamda ise büyük tohumların daha iyi çimlendiği görülmüştür. Tohum büyüklüğü ve ağırlığı arttıkça fidan boyu, ağırlığı, fidan kök boğazı çapa değerlerinin art tığı varyans analizi sonuçlarına göre söylenebilir.
dc.description.abstractSUMMARY In this research, the effects of seed size and seea weight of Pinus brutia and Pinus pineaster were investigated on germination percantage, needling height and seedling quality of these species and the results were appreciated `by- using statistical methods. All seeds used in this xnvestigation have been taken from the instixuxe of forest tree seeds and improvement in Ankara, Two origins of rinus hrutia and seven origins of pinus pineaster total nine origins were involved in these research. aeeds of jrlnus brutia were class! f ied two categories as Dig and small using a sieve that has the noies 5 mm and 4 rom in diameter, nowever, seeds of.tdnus pineaster were also classified in two categories as Dig ana small `by sight, i'hen these seeds were weigntea and found the weignt of luOO seeds. in April iyo'/, seeds from each size categories were sown in che greenhouse of Porestry vacuity in accordance witn the randomized `block design with 3 replicates. seed samples (^pxluOJ from each size categories were also sown in the seed and seed physiology laboratory of Forestry ^acuity using a nodewald germination cabinet, seed germinated on 7th, luth, 14th, ülst and Zbth were counted and found their germination percentage,. and drawn the germination curves. The number of seeds whien germinated in the first 10 days was determined and found their germination energy. Deeds of rinus pinaster and Pinus brutia wnieh were sown in the greenhouse of porestry Pacuity started to germinate in 'ZU or z5 day. 'L'he cotyledons were counted on the seedlings and found the mean numuer of them. seedling were lifted at the ena of first vegetation period in uctooer 19«7, and then their neight and diameter of root collars were measured, and weigh c of fresh seedling and weignt of fresn stalkes (stems; and roots were weighted.In order to obtain dried staik and root tnese fresh stalks and roots were kept 'in an oven for zA hours under the heat of 105 °C stalks and roots dried in oven were weighted. having completed measuring and weighting, regression analysis were done to dete 'mine the relationship `between the weight of luOO seeds and the number of cotyledons, and variance analysises to determine the relationships between the size or weignt of seeds and the germination percentage, the germination energy, the seedling height ana weight of fresh and dried seedlings. According t) the result of regression analysis it found a linear relationship (y=a-hbx) between tne weight of İU0Ü seeds and. the number of cotyledons. jvccoruiiig uu uhc rctiuli, ui variance analysis, unere is no relationship between the size or weight of seeds of i-ixxus pineasuer a^d txxe germination percantage, however seeds 01 Pinus urutxa which are big in size germixiaoed better than those of small ones. Ana it was also found that size and weight, of seeds of idnus brutia and pinus pinaster. arc effective statistically on the seedling height, the seedling root collar diameter, the seedling weight and the seedling quality. As a result, if the size of seeds gets bigger, the height, quality, the weight and the diameter of root collar of seedlings increase. For this reason, seeds must be classified according to their size and weight in the nurseries before they were sown. Appreciation of the results: ;: i Seeds of Pinus brutia remained on- the sieve that has holes 5 mm in diameter can be recommended for sowing in the nurseries. Deed of idnus pinaster remained on the sieve that holes b mm in diameter can be recommended for sowing in the nurseries.en_US
