dc.description.abstractÖZET Hidroksil amin hidroklorürün benzonitril ve p-tolunitril ile reaksiyonundan karşılk gelen benzamidoksim ve p-toluamidoksim elde edildi. Bu bileşiklerin karbon sülfür ile reaksiyonu 3-fenil-l,2,4-tiyadiazol-5(4H)- tiyon ve 3-(p~tolil)-l,2,4-tiyadiazol-5(4H)-tiyon bileşiklerini verdi. Bu tiyadiazol bileşiklerinin 2,4-dinitroklorobenzen ile reaksiyonundan ise 3- substitue-5-(2,4-dinitrotiyo)-l,2,4-tiyadiazol bileşikleri ele geçti. Tiyadiazol bileşiklerinin substitue benzil klorür ile reaksiyonundan 5- (substitue benziltiyo)-l,2,4-tiyadiazol bileşikleri elde edildi. 3-(p-tolil)-l,2,4-tiyadiazol-5(4H)-tiyon, 3-(p-tolil)-5-(2,4-dinitro- feniltiyo)-l,2,4-tiyadiazol, 3-fenil-5-(p-nitrobenziltiyo)-l,2,4-tiya diazol ve 3-fenil-5-(3-fenil-l,2,4-oksadiazolil)-l,2,4-tiyadiazol bileşik lerinin E.coli ve Penicillium'a karşı aktiviteleri test edildi. Sadece, 3-(p-tolil)-l,2,4-tiyadiazol-5(4H)-tiyon ve 3-(p-tolil)-5-(2,4-dinitro- feniltiyo)-l,2,4-tiyadiazol 'un bakteriyal ve fungal büyümeleri önlediği görüldü. V
dc.description.abstractSUMMARY Hydroxy! ami ne hydrochloride was reacted with benzonitrile and p-tolu nitrile respectively, and corresponding benzamidoxime and p-toluamidoxime were obtained. The reaction of benzamidoxime and p-toluamidoxime with CS£ gave 3-phenyl-l,2,4-thiadiazole-5(4H)-thione and 3-(p-tolyl)-l,2,4-thia- diazole-5(4H)-thione. These thiadiazoles, then, reacted with 2,4-dinit- rochlorobenzene to give 3-substituted-5-(2,4-dinitrophenylthio)-l,2,4- thiadiazoles. The reaction of the thiadiazoles with substituted benzyl chlorides gave 5- (substituted benzylthio)-l,2,4-thiadiazoles. Compounds of 3-(p-tolyl)-l,2,4-thiadiazole-5(4H)-thion, 3-(p-tolyl)- 5-(2,4-dinitrophenylthio)-l,2,4-thiadiazole, 3-phenyl -5- (p-nitrobenzylthio)- 1,2, 4-thi adi azol e and 3-phenyl -5- (3-phenyl -1,2, 4-oxadi azolyl ) -1, 2, 4-th i a- diazole were tested against E. col i and Penicillium. Only compounds of 3- (p-tolyl) -1,2, 4-thi adi azol e -5(4H)-thion and 3-(p-tolyl)-5-(2,4-dinitro- phenylthio)-l,2,4-thiadiazole showed significant inhibition of bacterial or fungal growth. VIen_US
