Opticas tesaperatıareş initial pH and initial glucose concen tration values for high growth yield of saioroorganissi were experienced as 25 0, 6-5-7-0 and 15-20 g/l respectively» ffiaz- iisum specific growth rat® of »sicroorganisia (u.^^), the satu ration concentration forthe.substrate (Ks) and.growth yield (Tt/S ) were determined as 0,057 hr``1, 1-47 g£-/I and 0-498 g so-/gC-- respsc timely- The effect of aeration end agitating rates on specific growth rate of microorganisms was observed to be siner- +2 2-t- ?+ 6-f 2-s- For adsorption studied of C*a ? En, Fe - Or and !?b ions in stirred batch tank reactors, optisrasa adsorption tem peratures and initial pE values for each ion were determined as 25°C- 35°0? 35°C, 35°C-50°C, 25°C and 4-0- 4-0, 1*5-2-0- 1,5-2-0 and 5»0 respectively- For sost setal ions-.initial Bietal ion concentrations of 200 sg/l gars the highest aâ«*- sorption rates- Corresponding Freundlich adsorption constants and adsorption degrees were found frois Freundlich adsorption isothera® optained at different tesperatures and pK values - Additionally, global and intrinsic reaction rate constants were calculated according to the assused adsorption rate sod- el* Sose parts of studies «?ere repeated in fluidised bed re actor and the results were compared ??ith each other- TheXV highest adsorption rates and metal uptake efficiencies of - ? -.. 2-s- algae were observed in the. adsorption of Pfe` ions and the slowest adsorption rates i?er® found for Pe~ ions- From the isotherms obtained at optimum, temperature and pE values^ the adsorption of Pb``* ions depicted the highest adsorption ca- 2-4- pssitj while the greatest adsorption degree was for Cu~ ions» The effect of metal ions on the specific growth rate of mi croorganism was also searched toy adding every metal' ion as 25 snd 50 mg/1 cone entrat ions into the growth medium of mi croorganism- It was found that chrosdu.m(`fI) ions had a cer tain.inhibition effect on microorganism® s growth and others decreased the specific growth rate-, respectively- During exponential growth ? little assonant of zinc (II) ion was ad sorbed toy algas.
