Akçaabat geleneksel konutları örneğinde yöresel kimlik arayışı

Abstract

ÖZET Bu çalışmada, önemle üzerinde durulan konu, yeni çevrelerin oluşturulmasında hemen her yerde geçerli standartların ötesinde içinde bulunduğu tarih ve kültürel kimlikli çevrenin `ayırt edici` yapısından kaynaklanan özünün tesbit edilmesidir. Bu amaçla yörelere kimlik kazandıran nitelikler ortaya koyularak, işlevsel açıdan eskiyen konutlar yenilenirken ve yeni konutlar üretilirken kültürel köprü işlevinin sürdürülmesi için bir yol araştırılacaktır. Birinci bölümde problem tanıtılmakta ve kültür-kültürel çevre, biçim, kimlik ve kimliklendirme incelenmekte ve birbirleriyle olan ilişkileri açıklanmaktadır. Daha sonra seçilen örnek yörenin (Akçaabat) tarihi, doğal coğrafyası, topoğrafik yapısı, bitki örtüsü, iklimi ve ekonomik durumu incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde yapılan çalışmalar yer almaktadır. Bu bölüm iki aşamadan oluşmaktadır. - Birinci aşamada yörede alan çalışması yapılmış ve saptanmış geleneksel konutların röleveleri çıkarılmıştır. Bu çalışma sırasında fotoğraf ve röleve tekniği kullanılmıştır. - İkinci aşamada ise yöreye kimlik kazandıran yapısal niteliklerin ayırdedici özelliklerinin saptanabilmesi amacıyla yörede yaşayan kişilere yönelik bir soruşturma çalışması yer almaktadır. Soruşturma çalışması ile bu yapısal kimliğin ayırdedici özelliklerinin belirlenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, yapılan röleveler ve soruşturma listelerinin analizleri yapılmış, elde edilen verilerin tipolojik bir sınıflandırılması yoluna gidilmiştir. Bu yolla yörenin yapısal kimliğini saptamak amaçlanmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde belirlenen nitelikler tablolar halinde sunulmuş ve değerlendirilmiştir. SUMMARY Analysis of the Local Identity on Traditional Akçaabat Houses. The purpose of this study is to analyze and emphasize how to utilize the historical and cultural identity from local and regional level to design the new built environment instead of contemporarier architectural practice today. Under this goal, study will be researched a new way to establish cultural bridges between traditional and new houses by restoration and rehabilation of the traditional houses which have significant functional changes over the years. In the first chapter, the problem has been described; cultur-cultural environment, form, identity analyzed and also relationship among them have been explained. Further, natural geography, topograpy, flora, climate and economical condition of the selected place have been examined in this study. The second chapter has two steps wich present theoretical study of the case. - In the first step, the field work has been done in the selected tradional houses by using the survey tecnique and photograph. - In the second step, the research has been done to identity different social and architectural features by a questionnaire among the residents who have been living in the selected site. With this method, different features of the area have been determined based on the local variables cultural. In the third chapter, finding of surveying the houses and questionnaire have been analyzed and the result at the end of obtained data of the study have been classified according to typology method. With this way, the local identity of the area has been defined by using this method. In the fourth chapter, determined features have been presented and analyzed in the tables.
