Sağlık bilgisinin önemi ve orta öğretim öğrencilerinin derse ilgilerinin saptanması

Abstract

IV ÖZET Bu çalışmada, örnekleme yöntemiyle Ankara'nın Cumhuriyet, Etlik, Ankara, Atatürk ve Kanuni Liselerinde, Sağlık bil gisi dersinin önemi, öğrencilerin derse olan ilgileri ve dersin işlenişinde karşılaşılabilecek sorunların neler o- labileceginin aydınlatılması hedeflenmiştir. Aynı zamanda, elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda da çözüm önerileri üretilmeye çalışılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda, sözkonusu orta öğretim ku rumlarında M.E.B'nın 1934-1985 öğretim yılından itibaren uygulamaya koyduğu Sağlık bilgisi dersinin içeriğinin iyi hazırlanmış olmasına rağmen yeterli düzeyde verilemediği saptanmıştır, özellikle, derse ait teorik bilgilerin ye terli verilemediği, bunun nedenlerinin başında biyoloji dersinde bazı konuların işlenerek, sağlık bilgisi dersinde yine aynı konuların çakıştığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca verileri teorik bilgilerin doğrultusunda pratik uygulamaların yeterli olmadığı görülmüştür. Bunun dışında, sağlık bilgisi dersinin olanaksızlıklar nedeniyle gerek öğrencilerde gerekse öğretmenler üzerinde bazı olumsuzluklar yaratmakta dır. Buna rağmen öğretmen ve öğrencilerin söz konusu der sin daha iyi verilmesi için özellikle laboratuvar ve araç- gereç yönünden desteklenmesi gerektiği bilincinde oldukları sevindirici bir durum olarak dikkati çekmiştir.

SUMMARY în this study it has been aimed to enlighten what diffi culties may be faced on giving healthcare courses, in Cumhuriyet, Etlik, Ankara, Atatürk and Kanuni High Schools in Ankara, through sampling method. At the same time stu dent motivation to these courses and their importance are investigated. Meanwhile it has been endeavoured to produce recommended solutions in accordance with the data obtained As a result of these studies it has been assessed that although the content o-f the healthcare courses that have been placed on the curriculums since the academic year 1984-1985 at the above mentioned Schools by the Ministry o-f National Education, was prepared well, Healthcare courses are not given su-f -f iciently. ît has been also de termined that theoretical knowledge regarding these courses is not given sufficiently. The main reason of this problem is that the some subjects in Biology coincide with those in healthcare courses. Furthermore, it has been noticed that pratical applications are not sufficient in accordance with the theoretical knowledge presented. Apart from this, because of some imposibi 1 i ties, health care courses cause some aneargeness on both the students ' and teachers 'sides,.tn spite of this fact, it is noted as satisfactory conclusion that the teachers snd the students arc* conscious that these courses must be reinforced with regard to laboratory and eguipment in order to present it better.
