Disiplinler arası uygulama alanı olan biyoteknolojinin kimya eğitiminde yeri ve önemi

Abstract

DİSİPLİNLER ARASI UYGULAMA ALANI OLAN BIYOTEKNOLOJININ KİMYA EĞİTİMİNDE YERİ VE ÖNEMİ Gökhan Göktan Hacettepe Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Orta Öğretim Fen-Mat. Alanlar Anabilim Dalı ÖZ Ülkemizde lise ve üniversite düzeyindeki fen eğitiminde Biyoteknoloji, Gen Teknolojisinin yeri ve öneminin belirlenmesi ve günümüzde son derece gündemde olan Biyoteknoloji ve Gen teknolojisi kavramlarının kimya eğitimindeki uygulama alanları, kullanımı ve ülkemiz eğitim şartlarında öğrenciler tarafından nasıl tanımlandığı ve bu tanımların doğruluk oranlarının karşılaştırılması, öğrencilerin zihnindeki hangi unsurların bu tanımların oluşturmasında etkili olduğunun bulunması çalışmanın özünü oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaçla 141 üniversite öğrencisi, 314 lise öğrencisi olmak üzere toplam 455 öğrenciye, Biyoteknoloji ve Genteknolojisi konusundaki bilgileri ve bu konulara karşı tutumlarının hangi düzeyde olduğunu saptamak amacıyla anket ve tutum ölçeği uygulanmış ve sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. THE IMPORTANCE AND THE PLACE OF BIOTECHNOLOGY WHICH HAS INTERDISCIPLINARY IMPLENENTATION FIELD AT CHEMISTRY EDUCATION Gökhan Göktan Hacettepe Universty Department Of Education Secondary Scholl Fields Of Maths and Science Section ABSTRACT In our country in the education of science at the level of high school and university, Biotechnology the determination of the place of Gene Technology and its importance and the application fields of the concepts of Biotechnology and Gene Technology, which is quite a current issue in our time, in the education of chemistry and its usage; and how it is defined by the students in the educational conditions of our country; and the comparison of the rates of accuracy of these definitions; exploring the components that the students have in their minds during the formation of this particular study. With this very objective, surveys and attitude measurements were prepared for getting the level of their knowledge interest and their opinions about the matter; and these surveys and attitude measurements have been applied on 455 students of whom 141 are university students and 314 are high school students; and the results have been evaluated.
