1970 – 2019 yılları arası ormanlarda karbon stok değişiminin belirlenmesi (Yomra planlama birimi örneği)

Abstract

`1970 – 2019 YILLARI ARASI ORMANLARDA KARBON STOK DEĞİŞİMİNİN BELİRLENMESİ (YOMRA PLANLAMA BİRİMİ ÖRNEĞİ)` Son zamanlarda giderek artan bir öneme sahip olan küresel iklim değişikliğinin en büyük nedeni atmosferdeki sera gazlarının artış göstermesidir. Sera etkisinin büyük bir bölümüne sebep olan Karbondioksit gazı, sera gazları içerisinde en yüksek paya sahip olanıdır. Dünyada gerçekleşen iklim değişikliği ile mücadelede yapılması gereken en önemli çalışma, atmosferdeki karbondioksit oranını azaltmak olarak belirtilmektedir. Bu bağlamda karasal ekosistemler içerisinde en yüksek miktarda karbondioksit depolayan orman ekosistemleri ön plana çıkmaktadır. Ormanlar atmosferde serbest halde bulunan karbondioksiti tutmakta ve biyokimyasal dönüşüm ile bünyesinde karbon olarak depolamaktadır. Bu nedenle ormanlar tarafından depolanan karbon miktarının belirlenmesi gerekmektedir.Bu çalışmada Trabzon İli Yomra İlçe sınırları içinde bulunan orman varlğı ve karbon birikiminin zamansal değişimi incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda çalışmada araştırma alanına ait 4 döneme ait (1970 – 1990 - 2009 ve 2019) amenajman planları kullanılmıştır. Bu planlar sayısallaştırılarak veri tablolarına aktarılmış ve gerekli analizler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlarda 1970-2019 yılları arasında Yomra İlçesinde servetin 534292,2 m3 arttığı tespit edilmiştir. Yine araştırma alanında karbon birikiminin yıllar bazında 1970 yılı 6,46 ton/ha, 1984 yılı 15,34 ton/ha, 2009 yılı 37,94 ton/ha ve 2019 yılı için 25,43 ton/ha'dır. En yüksek karbon birikimi 2009 yılı için hesaplanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen bilgiler ışığında Türkiye genelinde Yomra İlçesi özelinde klasik ormancılığın yanında karbon ormancılığının da yapılması gerekliliği üzerine öneriler geliştirilmiştir.

DETERMINATION OF CARBON STOCK CHANGE IN FORESTS BETWEEN 1970 - 2019 (SAMPLE OF YOMRA PLANNING UNIT)The greatest cause of the global climate change that has come to light in recent years is the serious increase in the proportion of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Since it is the carbon dioxide, which has the highest proportion in greenhouse gases, the major effect of the greenhouse originates from this gas. The most important work to be done to fight the global climate change is to reduce the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. In this context, forest ecosystems that contain the highest amount of carbon dioxide in terrestrial ecosystems come to the forefront. The forests hold carbon dioxide in the air and store them as carbon by biochemically convertion. For this reason, the amount of carbon stored by forests needs to be determined. In this study, the temporal change of the forest and carbon accumulation within the boundaries of Trabzon Yomra District was investigated. In this context, the management plans of the research area were used for four terms (1970 - 1990 - 2009 and 2019). According to the results, the presence of forests in Yomra region between 1970-2019 was 534292,22 m3 increased. Again, the carbon accumulation in the research area is 6,46 tone in 1970, 15,34 tone in 1984, 37,94 tone in 2009 and 25,43 tone for 2019. The highest carbon accumulation was calculated for 2009. As a result of this study, suggestions were made on the necessity of carbon forestry in addition to classical forestry in Yomra region.
