Abstract

ÖZET İnsan ömrü bir bütündür. Bu bütünü anlıyabilmek için, parçalarını incelemek gerekir. Bu bütünün ilk evresi olan bebeklik ve çocukluk, bedensel, ruhsal, düşünsel gelişme açısından yaşamsal önem taşır. Çocukta 11 aylık iken başlayan çevresinde gördüklerini resimlerde tanıma, resimlerde gördüklerini çevresi ile birleştirebilme yetisi, düşünsel gelişiminin bir göstergesidir. Onun kitapla karşılaşması önce resimle, daha sonra resim-sözcük, resim-tümce, resim-tümceler, resim-öykü, az resim-çok öykü ve resimsiz metinlere doğrudur. Çocuklar meraklıdır. Gizli olanı arar ve her an algılamaya hazırdırlar. Resimli kitap, meraklarını gidermede, bilgilerini zenginleştirmede yardımcı olur. Resimli kitabın önemli bir görevi de plastik sanatlara ait ilk izlenimleri, ilk eğitimi vermesidir. Çizgilerin ve renklerin uyum içerisinde olması, çocukta estetik duygunun gelişmesine yardımcı olur. Çocuğun içinde yaşadığı dünyayı adım adım yansıtabilen, ona ilk kavramları verebilen, onunla tartışıp onu eğlendirebilen, güzellik ve düzen içerisinde büyümelerine yardımcı olan kitaplar yeğlenmelidir. Çocuğun görsel eğitiminde önemli bir yeri olan resimli çocuk kitaplarının, ülkemizdeki durumuna bakıldığında, çoğunun çağdaş ölçülerin bir hayli gerisinde olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Bunun yanında, çocuklar için tercih edebileceğimiz, illüstrasyonları ve sayfa tasarımı ile çağdaş, fakat sınırlı sayıdaki yayınevinin tekelinde bulunan resimli çocuk kitapları ile de karşılaşılmaktadır. Dileğimiz günden güne sayısını arttırmakta olan bu. yayın lardaki kaliteyi tüm resimli çocuk kitaplarında görmektir. İsteğimiz, çocuğa görsel yönden, küçük yaştan, belli bir yaşa kadar etki yapacak resimli kitapların hazırlanmasında rolü olan yayıncıya ve illüstratöre büyük bir sorumluluk yüklemekte ve üst düzeye ulaşma ve tedbirler alma zorunluluğunu doğurmaktadır. Genelde sanatçı zengin hayal gücüyle, çocuğa yaklaşabilen ona en yakın kişidir. Ekonomik ve teknik olanakları hazırlayan kişilerin, çocuğun sanatçıya tanıdığı hoşgörüyü göstermeleriyle çocuk ve sanatçı yakmlaşabilir. Böylece, sanatçıya özgün yaratma ortamı, çocuğa da bu çalışma sonucu oluşmuş kitaplardan faydalanma imkanı tanınmış olur.`0-6 Yaş Grubu Çocuk Kitap İllüstrasyonlarının Analizi ve Bir Çocuk Kitabı İllüstrasyonu Denemesi` konulu araştırma ve uygulama, çocuklara sunulan çocuk kitaplarının, görsel ve içerik yönünden nasıl olması gerektiğini vurgulamak, bu alanda ülkemizde yapılan çalışmaların yetersizliğine dikkati çekerek, bilinçli tedbirlerin alınmasını sağlamak ve daha sonra yapılacak çalışmalara katkıda bulunmak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Önerilen çalışmada, `Beş Beyaz Benekli Baykuş Bana Bakıyor!...` isimli masal kitabı resimlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada, masala uygun tipler seçilmeye çalışılmış, tiplerin içinde yaşadığımız toplumun tipleri olmasına özen gösterilmiştir. Resimler, genelde canlı modelden çalışılıp yoruma gidilmiştir. Kitaptaki görsel niteliklerin çocuğun bulunduğu yaş basamağına uygun olmasına dikkat edilmiş, kitabın görsel yanı yazınsal yanını açıklayıcı nitelikte kullanılmış, böylece aralarında sağlam bir ilişki kurulmuştur. Farklı araştırmalara imkan tanıması amacıyla ekolin, guaj boya ve kuru kalem kullanılmıştır. Kapak yazımında, çocukların okuma-yazma bilmedikleri gözönüne alınarak alfabe yazısına yakın yuvarlak hatlı `Frankfurter` yazı seçilmiş, masal yazımında da aynı düşünceden yola çıkarak, 16 puntoluk yazı tercih edilmiştir. Yapılan araştırmada elde edilen bilgiler öneri niteliğindeki çalışmaya yansıtılmış resim, renk ve yazı bütünlüğü ile istenilene ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır.

ı n:.fj ~Y The life span of human beings is a whole. In order to be able to understand this whole, examination of the parts forming it is necessary. The first period of being baby and a child, has vital importance on physical, emotinonal and mental development. When the child is eleven months old, the child's ability starting to know the things seen in the environment throught pictures and exerting efforts to relate those seen in the pictures with the ones in the environment is an indicator for his mental development. The meeting of the child with the book is first with pictures, and later throught picture-words, picture-sentence, picture- sentences, picture-story, little picture-more story and throught texts without pictures. The childs are curious. They search for things hiden and are alwa3rs ready to sense. Pictorical book, help meet their curiousity and enrich their knowladge. The important task of pictoral books is that it provides the first impressions on plastic arts and provides the first education in this respect. Lines and colors being in harmony, help create esthetic feeling development in the child. The books reflect the world in which the child live through step by steph, introduce and supply him with the basic concepts while entering into discussions with him and entertaining as well as helping them grow with beauty and order, are profered. When the conditions of pictorical books which play an important role on the child's visual education is observed in our country, it is seen that most of them are under the modern standards. However it is also met with pictorial books that can be preffered for the children with their qualified illustrations andgraffical designs although they are under the dependency of a few publishers. We would like to see the same quality not only in these publications increasing day by day, but in all pictorial child books. Our request gives great responsibility to the illustrator and the publisher who have role on preparation of pictorial books that will effect the child visually from the first years to a certain age and brings necessity to reach a high level. In general, with his rich imagination, the artist is the nearest one to the child. Artist and child can get closer if economical and techniqual performers are eliminated and if child shows torerance to the artist. In this way, creative setting peculiar to the artist will give the child the chance of profitting by these books. The Analysis of the Children Book Illustration for 0-6 age group and a Trail on Children Book Illustration` is taken as the subject and opplication to impress the subject of how the children books supplied to the children should be with respect to their appearance and content by taking in to consideration the insufficiency of the studies conducted in our country with the idea that it will help to take conscious precautions and to the works to be performed at a later date. In the suggested study, the story book titled `Five White Speted Owls are Looking at Me` was illustrated. In the study, types suitable for the story was selected and care was exerted to make sure that the persons are those we meet in the envirenment we are living. The pictures are generally started from the alive models and arrived at an interpretation. The visual characteristics in the book are taken with care to suit the age step of the child and a sund relationship has been established between the text and the illustrations. For the purpose of allowing different studies, ecolin, color pencils, guage paints are used. For the writings on the cover, by taking into consideration that the child does not know how to read and write, the round style letters close to the Turkish alphabet^Tilings are selected and with the same thinking with respect to writing of stories the 16 point writing letters are selected. In the researches conducted the information gained are reflected in the studies in from of suggestions and desired ends are reached with unity of pictures, color and letters.
