Dr. Abdurrahman TOZLUCA In this study the data related to the general social situation, agricultural farming constructions, the production of forage, the feeding, records of company, the marketting of milk, and selling of stallion were gathered with the way of questionnaire in the dairy livestock companies of the tows of Çumra and Altınekin.At the final stage of research, it was seen that the number of dairy livestock companies located in the tows of Altınekin and Çumra did not increase at the satisfiying level, in constrast, the number of company has been decreasing because or same reasons. It was determined that 7,4% of the population living in the companies did not go to any school, however the others just continued to mid-and high school. 72,2% of the population just graduated from the elementary school. It was also seen that the fertilization by hand has been practiced at the 54% of the companies, on the other hand, the others have been using unidentified stallion bulls. It was also defined that the 64,4% of the areas involving some companies have an irrigation system. At the 57,1% of the companies, clover is planted and the average of 3,5 da. Clover planting area is used by per company. When calves are born, colostrum is given and it's determined that 74,6% of the companies practice the sucling on the other hand, 75,4% are feeding them by hand. In the research, the most important problem of dairy livestock management was defined as 76,2% of the company owners had high expenses cost for their production. This problem has very important place in the dairy farming and sources from the high cost of forage that affects the productivity of milk. It was also declined that some associations supporting the dairy farming do not have any sufficient possibles and project to developed the dairy livestock and solve the problems. The research concluded that the dairy farmers are lack of the knowledge of animal healt and hygiene, furthermore it was seen that the record of milk production is not regestered in most of companies.
