Bilgisayar ortamında hazırlanan kavram haritalarının bir öğretim materyali olarak fen bilgisi dersinde kullanılmasının ilköğretim öğrencilerinin başarılarına etkisi

Dr. Semiha Erişen2006, 58 sayfaBu çalışma; fen bilgisi dersinin bilgisayar ortamında hazırlanmışkavram haritasıyla anlatılmasının öğrencilerin başarıları, bu derse karşı tutumları veöğrenilenleri hatırlama düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Evrenini Konyail merkezinde bulunan ilköğretim okulları; örneklemini, Karatay ilçesi Karmaİlköğretim Okulu'nun 6. sınıfları oluşturmuştur. Çalışma, öntest-sontest, bir deney-bir kontrol deneme modeline göre yürütülmüştür.Çalışmada, 6. sınıflarda 10 hafta süreyle okutulan; ?Canlının İçYapısına Yolculuk? ünitesi anlatılmıştır. Bu ünite kontrol grubuna gelenekselanlatım yöntemiyle anlatılırken, deneme grubuna, kavram haritaları şeklindehazırlanan bilgisayar destekli eğitim materyali kullanılarak anlatılmıştır. Öğrencilerinbaşarı düzeylerinin belirlenmesinde güvenirlik katsayısı α= 0.778 olan ve 30 sorudanoluşan testten, fen bilgisine yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesinde ise güvenirlikkatsayısı α = 0.786 olan ve geçerliği uzman görüşüyle desteklenmiş 30 maddeliktutum ölçeğinden yararlanılmıştır.Araştırmada; öğrencilerin deneme sonundaki başarı düzeyi testi veders anlatımının bitmesinden 3 ay sonra uygulanan hatırlama testinden aldıklarıpuanları ile fen bilgisine ilişkin tutumları bağımlı değişken, uygulanan öğretimyöntemi ise bağımsız değişken olarak ele alınmıştır. Başarı düzeyini belirlemekamacıyla uygulanan testlere ait veriler ile fen bilgisine karşı tutumlarla ilgili veriler,SPSS paket programından yararlanılarak, bağımsız gruplar t-testi analiz modeliyledeğerlendirilmiştir.Araştırma sonunda fen bilgisi dersinin anlatılmasında bilgisayardestekli kavram haritasından yararlanılması, öğrencilerin başarısını, hatırlamadüzeylerini, fen bilgisi dersine ilişkin tutumlarını klasik anlatım yöntemine göreönemli düzeyde (P<0.005) artırmıştır. Fen bilgisi eğitiminde bilgisayar desteklikavram haritası materyali kullanmanın geleneksel yöntemi kullanmaya göre dahabaşarılı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Bilgisayar destekli kavram haritası, bilgisayar destekli eğitim,kavram haritaları, fen bilgisi dersine karşı tutum.

Dr. Semiha Erişen2006, 58 pagesThe aim of this study is to determine the effects of presenting sciencelesson that are prepared as concept map by computer environment to successes,attitudes and the levels of anamnesis of the students. The universe and samples ofthis study are Primary Schools exist in Konya city center and 6th classes of KarmaPrimary School exists in Karatay district respectively. This study was executedaccording to the prior-test, last-test, one experiment and one control test model.In the present study, unit that is named as ?Cruising to InteriorStructure of Alive? and presented to 6th class for 10 weeks were described. This unitwas presented to the control group with traditional method whereas to test group withusing education material that is prepared as computer aided concept map type. Todetermine success levels of the student and attitudes of the student against sciencelesson a test with reliability coefficient of α= 0.778 and 30 questions and attitudescale with reliability coefficient of α= 0.786 and 30 items were used respectively.In the present study, grades from success level test after the testperiod, grades from anamnesis test applied 3 months after the lesson presentationended and attitudes against the science lesson were taken as dependent variableswhereas applied instruction method was taken as independent variables. The datathat belong to applied tests and the data related with attitudes against science lessonare evaluated by independent groups t-test analysis model to determine the successlevel of this study.At the end of this research, it?s been seen that using computer aidedconcept map for science lesson increase the successes, the levels of anamnesis andattitudes of the students for the science lesson in a significant level (P<0.005) whenit?s compared with classical method. The result of this study showed that usingcomputer aided concept map in science lesson is more successful than usingtraditional method.Key Words: Computer aided concept map, computer aided education, concept maps,attitude against lesson of science.
