The metal complexes of Zn(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Pb(II) with unsymmetrical Schiff bases were synthesized. The unsymmetrical Schiff base was obtained with the condensation of 1,2-phenlendiamine, 2,5-dihydroxybenzaldehyde, 1-pyrencarboxaldehyd and 3-hydroksibenzaldehyd. The Schiff base ligands and their metal complexes were characterized by, FT-IR, 1H NMR, UV–Vis, anticarcinogenic properties, elemental analysis, magnetic moment and fluorescence studies.en_US
