dc.description.abstract26 ÖZET İshalli buzağı ve çocuklardan izole edilen Campylobacterlerîn identifikasyonu ve Antibiyotiklere Duyarlılıkları üzerinde çalışmalar. Bu çalışmada 300 ishalli çocuk ile 28 ishalli buzağı ve 47 sağlıklı buzağıdan rektal sıvapla alınan toplam 375 dışkı örneği kullanıldı, örneklerin % 16.8'inden Campylobacter ssp. izole edildi. İshalli çocuklardan alman 300 örneğin 37'slnden (% 12.3) Campylobacter ssp. izol edilirken, 28 ishalli buzağı örneğinin 12'sinden (% 42.8), 47 sağlıklı buzağı örneğinin ise 14'ünden (% 29.7) Campylobacter ssp. izole edilmiştir. İzole edilen Campylobacterlerîn 58'i (% 92.0) C. jejuni, 3'ü (% 4-8) C. coli, 11 (% 1.6) C. fetus ssp. fetus ve l`i (% 1.6) C. fecalis olarak identifiye edilmiştir.
dc.description.abstract27 SUMMARY Studies on Sensitivity to Antibiotics and Identifications of the Campylobacter Strains Isolated from Diarrhoeic Childs and Calves In this study, a total of 375 rectal swab samples which collected from 300 diarrhoeic childs, 28 diarrhoeic calves and 47 healthy calves were used as a material in Konya region. Campylobacter ssp. were isolated from 37 (12.3 %) of the 300 samples taken from diarrhoeic childs, 14 (29.7 %) of the 47 healthy calves samples and 12 (42.8 %) of the 28 rectal swab samples from diarrhoeic calves. Campylobacter strains were identified as a C. Jejuni, C. coli, C. fetus ssp. fetus and C. fecalis, at the rates of 92.0 % (58 isolates). 4:8 % (3 isolates), 1,6 % (1 isolate), 1.6 % (1 isolate), respectively. Oxidase, catalase, H2S, hippurate hydrolysis and selenite reduction properties of the C. jejuni isolates were found to be positive at the rates 100 %, 100 % % 90, % 0.0 %, 91.3 and 98.2 %, respectively. Growth characteristic of the C. jejuni isolates at 25 °C, 30 °C and 42 °C were found to be positive, at the rates of 0.0 %, 3.4 % and 100 %, respectively. The tolerans tests such as to 3,5 % NaCI, 1 % giysine, susceptibility to nalidixic acid and cepholathine, C. jejuni isolates were found to be positive, 0.0 %, 100 %, 100 % and 0.0 % respectively. The most of Campylobacter strains isolated from children and calves were sensitive, at the high rates, to erytromicin, gentamicin, tetracyclin, cephotaxime, streptomicin and chloramphenicol.en_US
